Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use it to organize tasks and for reminders and management. It addresses to-do issues and allows us to track the events or tasks that need to be completed as well as when or their schedule. I personally use it to help me stay organized and to help me prioritize what I need to do and when I need to do it and I can also carve out time that is dedicated to specific tasks based on those factors.

Pros

  • deadlines
  • easy to use
  • organization

Cons

  • more guides
  • more customization
  • help with automations
  • increased productivity individually
  • improved organization
  • improved purposeful use of time
It has improved in terms of making to-do or tasks known to more people and not just the individual. It allows for more awareness which is helpful in terms of people knowing if things have been completed or if things are still in a loose ends status. It is helpful in managing what needs to get done next and who will be involved.
We have been able to simplify productivity processes with ClickUp by information sharing and knowing the status of a task and where it left off. It is helpful in being able to gain context in relation to the to do list. Rather than using several different apps like Slack and email and word of mouth we are able to better understand what needs to be done and what has been done at a certain point in time.
I think monday.com is a bit easier to uise and a bit more user friendly and cleaner looking. ClickUp is similar but I think takes some more time to get used to and to learn how to use it effectively. I think monday.com is better for groups and ClickUp is a bit better for individual tracking.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy ClickUp again?

No

ClickUp is nice I think for personal use like having your own to-do list and planning out your own tasks and timeline for completing them. It can get a bit trickier when it comes to coordinating these across more than one individual... I think the interface is a bit nicer for individual use and can become cluttered and or confusing at times when there are a lot of users involved.

Using ClickUp

3 - Mainly project management and administrative positions. It is helpful for these positions especially because it's another place to keep a to-do list and to be able to prioritize without getting overwhelmed by other information that is not as pressing or at the forefront. Having another platform to keep information like this is great!
  • task management
  • organization
  • reminders
  • helpful for follow ups
  • priortization
  • possibly more in sales
I would not pay for this additional service. We prefer to use a different platform for our main project management. However, the free and basic version of click up is useful as an additional tool and more for personal organization and management. I like to use it to prioritize and remind myself of daily goals or tasks and also some long term or ongoing things that I want to keep in mind.

Evaluating ClickUp and Competitors

  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
It is important to have it be easy to use because switching people over to a new system can take time and it is ideal for a business to be able to keep people up to speed and working efficiently. Someitmes it is easier to continue with what you have been using rather than to switch over to something new if it is complicated or different.
I still think we would continue to use monday.com but I think having the basic version of click up to use in addition, is helpful. It allows for us to have another space to keep more personal or individual tasks and reminders and allows for us to prioritize and see those tasks without seeing all the other stuff that is happening.

Using ClickUp

I think it is easy to use in a basic sense but for the more complex kind of tools it has it can be a bit harder to understand at first. I think the interface is not quite as viusally friendly as some other platforms.
ProsCons
Consistent
Convenient
Requires technical support
Lots to learn
  • creating tasks
  • sharing tasks with others
  • deadlines
