My company uses ClickUp as its main task management program. All team members, including management, use ClickUp daily for multiple departments: operations, HR, Sales, and marketing. ClickUp docs hold all of our company policies and procedures. The Dashboard oversees our clients' and internal company tasks and projects. Their automation assists in avoiding doubling up on efforts. Their universal search function, which allows integrated programs to be searchable, is a time-saver. My team has benefited from their new AI functions when creating procedure manuals and summarizing their workload, daily tasks, and other details.

- Their chat feature was nonexistent, and a revamp was rolled out recently.
- Their whiteboard function for visual collaboration feels clunky and difficult to use smoothly.
- Their table view/feature (which is supposed to feel like a spreadsheet) is lacking and makes it difficult to copy/move information.
- ClickUp integration into our time-tracking has held team members accountable for detailing/documenting individual tasks within ClickUp.
- AI functions have allowed us to create procedure manuals in a fraction of the time we used to spend manually entering pertinent information.
- Integrating my calendar into ClickUp has allowed me to easily time-block daily tasks and avoid missing deadlines.
My management team's ability to collaborate easily in ClickUp docs and build out tasks within those docs has been a game changer. It's also allowed us to easily oversee deadlines and incomplete tasks. Our team can easily collaborate and communicate their part of the project using the comments section and share documentation. Using the Goals feature in ClickUp also keeps our eyes on the prize of larger company-specific goals.
Building templates for checklists and documents has been a significant time saver. Integrating Google Drive allows me to search my Google Drive in ClickUP for any documentation I need, so I never have to leave ClickUp to find what I'm looking for. Automating simple processes cuts out multiple steps for the same process daily.
While some of the CRMs above have different functionalities, I have found that ClickUp is the most user-friendly, has the most viewable options, and is the most able to grow and scale with my business. ClickUp has the best team collaboration tools available and the best templates to start with and edit from there.
