GoTo Meeting is a no brainer if you're looking to start off your webinar business. Prices are cheap, things are smooth, comes with a wide variety of feature set, very little limitations.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

GoTo Meeting is a very convenient piece of software for online webinars and discussions. We assist our client in making the decision to use GoTo Meeting, and they primarily use this for webinars, because it doesn't require any signups, and can host a room that supports up to 250 attendees.

Pros and Cons

Very easy to host meetings
Really good prices, really cheap actually
Great integration with email software, making invitations a breeze
Easy on invitation guests (receivers) to join a meeting in just a click

Local number dial-in was not available for Hong Kong

Return on Investment

Because its prices are so attractive, there is really not much to lose. It is convenient to host meetings, which means revenue and profit for our client.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams, Webex Meetings, Webex Webinars, Zoom Video Webinar, Skype, Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and now part of Microsoft Teams

Pricing is a big concern, and community-wise it was the beginning at the time when we made the decision.

Screensharing is available and it's quite smooth too. It also comes with "raise hand" features. This is really convenient for webinars with guests who would like to ask questions. This happened to our clients all the time, where guests would like to raise their hands and ask questions from time to time. We have had reports, however, that some of our client's guests have had problems connecting to GoTo Meeting. The issue seems to be related to the Internet or blocked by a firewall.
