Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We use Paycom to run payroll and for onboarding and offboarding. We hope to expand to utilize expense management and applicant tracking in the coming months.
  • Web and app interface well and provide a reasonable user experience for employees, regardless of their tech comfort level.
  • Advanced Report Writer helps me pull the exact information that I need rather than trying to filter down a canned report.
  • I don't know the solution, but I know that we've struggled with the competency of our support specialists. They are nice and try to be helpful but have consistently lacked some of the advanced knowledge we need. Both times, we've had to revert to our higher-up exec, Ashley Morgan, to solve problems. Both our recent young man and a young woman were trying to read the manual to learn as they taught us. Their exposure and onboarding need to be more extensive before they are assigned a client, in order to set them up for success and provide a better client experience.
  • Improved accuracy of accrual information and the timeliness of reporting this to employees
  • It gave employees access to their information, which is a huge convenience and benefit to them.
  • It increased the perceived transparency around an employee's payroll and benefits which helps with morale and confidence in us as their employer.

Paycom provides a user experience that is good for our teachers and especially those who aren't as comfortable with technology. Applicant tracking is less applicable to us in the way it is designed because we don't have one person who hires all teachers but rather teams of people, depending on the grade and position. Paycom is great for schools, and we would love for Paycom to develop some best practice training that is school specific rather than us consistently trying to adapt industry standards from the corporate sector to our area.

Not yet, but we hope to do that in the coming months. We hope to replace our current application process with applicant tracking and our current reimbursement process with Expense Management.
YES! When they assigned Ashley Morgan to our account in the summer of 2021. We were in desperate need for some training for our new president and new CFO. Ashley has absolutely saved us more times than I can count. She is such an asset to HH and to Paycom, in our opinion.
In this information age, everyone wants access to their information 24/7. Paycom has allowed our employees to better manage and control their own payroll and benefits data and to see how they are spending their salary dollars. It has also helped us gain a better handle on salary distribution and benefits allocation.

Yes - We were using the payroll solution that we had with Blackbaud's Financial Edge.

There was no single most important factor. Price couldn't be prioritized over functionality and the user experience couldn't be higher than price. It was all important and, collectively, used to make our decision.

Paycom Support

Because of our onboarding specialist, Austin Ingram, and because of our current exec, Ashley Morgan. Without the two of them, we would NOT be in the same position and may not have even stuck with Paycom as the phone support isn't always super helpful. They try, but their training is not adequate to answer a broad array of questions.
