Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use it for payroll, we use it for all of our benefits. We also use it for all of our consent forms, any acknowledgement and employee acknowledgement. And it's been great. My team is involved with the system using it and I have no negative feedback. That's very intuitive, pretty easy to use and I dunno, there's no problems.
Pros
- The payroll approval using Betty, being able to compare last paycheck to this paycheck, especially on the sales side. We have commissions in there so it's really nice for them to be able to see that and spell that all out.
- Being alerted any time we need a new document that we have to sign or do anything on. It's very intuitive, very easy as we go in.
- I love the integration between the web and the app on our phone and we use Okta for single sign-on and everything works seamlessly.
Cons
- I've been with a few other payroll providers before. This one's definitely the best system I've used. I'm trying to think of anything that is a gap that I've noticed. I can't really think of any off the top of my head.
- Part of our benefit onboarding and all of that, we were able to consolidate into one platform. So ROI, we definitely were able to get rid of at least one other platform that we're using to manage that in addition to the payroll and also the document management and signing. We were able to consolidate and get better ROI by removing some of the other software we're using.
We had disparate systems that we were managing payroll here, benefits here and form management here, and you guys having that single database, bringing that all together is perfect for us.
Betty was rolled out and like I mentioned, Hey, you need to acknowledge this week, approve your check this week. All that stuff has really helped in eliminating the errors and reducing them based on if they've approved it, they've seen it before, we actually pay them and we're not going retro. They're correcting anything beforehand. And I came over here to talk about the I want, that's why I keep looking up at over here and I just saw it appear recently. So interested in checking that out.
I mean I've used Paychex before. I've used ADP before. Paychex was nothing like this, not comparable in terms of the version I was using. I think I was using Paychex Flex, but this was much more comprehensive, much more coherent, and it did a lot more on the ADP side. I don't know what version of a DPI was on in the past, but it just was not, it didn't integrate well and now this is a while ago, back with the phone trying to do anything mobile didn't happen. It wasn't available if it was available, it was clunky and didn't work great. Those are the two that I've really had experience with before.
