Save time and made processes more efficient with less chance of error.
Employees appreciate the mobile app and the ease of requesting time off. We are also able to track required documents and signatures from employees.

It works really well for onboarding, time tracking, and payroll. We have had some problems with the implementation not being set up correctly causing significant issues afterwards. Once those issues were resolved it works good.

Paylocity Implementation

The implementation team walked me through the payroll and it worked. I just wish that we had started about two weeks earlier in preparation to make sure that all the employees were set up correctly before the rushed payroll.
  • Rushed to payroll - not enough lead time to make sure everything was set up by the first payroll run
  • Tax codes were not set up correctly by the Paylocity implementation team

Configuring Paylocity

It is complex and a user needs to be aware of each and every unique button to check or set up for each employee.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
Some - we have added small pieces of custom code - Customer Service had to walk me through it. It wasn't hard but I would not have been able to do it without their help.

Paylocity Support

For most questions, I receive service within 24 hours, and they are very helpful. However, for several significant issues that needed to be addressed quickly it took weeks or even months to get an answer and the issue resolved.

Using Paylocity

It is easy to use once you know the program but it has a lot of little steps that are not necessarily intuitive. So it was not an easy program to learn.

Yes - Really well for some things and not for others. Time Off Requests and time tracking are great on the mobile app. Making changes or edits are difficult on the app.
