Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Since our company specializes in construction projects abroad all over Europe, Procore allows our project management teams to have a semi-independent construction process. There is no need for extra excel sheets, phone calls from the HQ, or any other type of report to check on the project's health. Procore package together with analytics tool allows us to monitor everything from the background.
  • Manages both large and small projects.
  • Reporting and exporting data.
  • Tool variety.
  • Great mobile application.
  • Tool field sets could use more flexibility.
  • Permissions could be more detailed.
  • Tasks could be reoccurring.
  • Time it takes to complete daily tasks has been reduced by 70%.
  • Pre-generated reports reduced 100% of the time.
Procore analytics together with Microsoft "Power BI" and an SQL server has immensely increased the amount of data that we receive and display in our reports. Google sheets is our go-to app when we need to share more complex calculations with our team members without adding them to sharepoint, dropbox etc. Procore for outlook is great. forming observations directly from email saves time.
Showing Procore to potential project managers is a guarantee of increased interest in our company, same goes with retaining current members an clients as well.
When we looked into all possible construction management software, we thought we would find a 100% match for our company, but that's not the case. Every company has its way of doing construction, and there's no such thing as a perfect match, but Procore, with its wide range of tools, indeed comes close to perfect.

As the manager of Procore implementation I receive a great value from reports at company level and Analytics system. Team members that input timesheets and quantities have immensely increased their speed and reduced the amount of mistakes. The generated pdf exports for inspections and observations zero's our time spent for creating custom files for our clients
Before Procore, our projects would use their templates for issue logs, assigned tasks, or timesheets, but now, everything is in one place, and if a project management team member moves to a different project, he does not need to readjust to their liking. Another excellent point is that we can collect data from all project and use it in multiple ways via Procore Analytics

4 - Technical people with apatite for data analysis and implementation of new functions, best case scenario is someone with authority and leadership skills. What accounts for project level, the best support that you can get is gamers. Sounds strange, but they are quick to adapt and implement, tech-savvy, easy to communicate new ideas, functions, tools and apps.
  • Reporting on project progress
  • Closing stage of a project (lessons learned, risk register, issue log)
  • Quality inspections
  • Drawing markups
  • Logging extra work via daywork sheets
  • Exporting reports for additional calculations in excel
  • Power BI representation in apps
  • Budget
  • Estimating
  • BIM
That's exactly what we did few weeks ago. Major point for this was pricing, it's really flexible and depend on the size of your company. You can also customize the tools that you want. Another point is constant updates, all tools are improving non-stop, Procore really listens to it's customers and implements ideas that they offer via support page.

Evaluating Procore and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
Add a big emphases on ease of implementation, since that was the biggest issue with Procore. But it's important to know that that was not an issue on their part.

Procore Implementation

Practice, Practice, Practice
Yes - Custom made plan for our companies implementation with Procore, constant contact with Procore representatives about our issues, successes and areas to improve.
Change management was a major issue with the implementation - Chain of command is very important. Convince the top management and everything will go smoothly.
  • Fatigue
  • Suspicion
  • Lack of Vision for Top management

Some budgeted quantities we being doubled in one of our reports, and the customer support helped me to solve this issue.

Using Procore

There are some areas to improve, but overall it's easy to use. a short answer would be a Facebook for your projects.
