Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling provided a single solution for our Payroll, HR and Training needs. While ADP is good, Rippling helped by not just ensuring all the features and support for payroll are available but also saved cost while doing so. Integrated training, HR and other tools to help bring efficiency in the organization across the teams. Single portal to view training needs as well as like submit and view leaves.
Pros
- Ease of payslip view, notification as well as detailed view of the paystub.
- Ease of integration with other tools like Freshteam, Training, Notion and other tools.
- Can manage and view trainings required by the organization and in one single interface.
Cons
- The UI needs a good uplift in terms of providing the large enterprise confidence exhibiting features and functionality.
- Ease of integration with 3rd party or custom tools needs much deeper and richer capabilities and reduced time to implement. Some integrations were not as easy as seemed to be.
- HR management can be more feature rich and support some of the AI advancements.
- It has a very good positive impact on ROI as moving from a well known payroll solution.
- Ease of integration has drive better efficiency and hence overall improved soft dollar ROI.
- Ability to manage and track assets, soft as well as hard in a single location and with full feature helped reduced over head and thereby ROI on multi tool investments.
While each of the tools demonstrated notable expertise in certain areas, it was the complete suite of features which fit the wide spectrum of requirement across organization that helped make the evaluation complete with the application / product which was able to not just meet but also exceed and hence ranked higher than the others. Criterias like Interation, cost, ease of implementation, ongoing support, ease of use, contracting, documentation, global reach, etc.

Evaluating Rippling and Competitors
Yes - We replaced ADP as the Payroll solution which was good but did not meet all the expectations in terms of integration as well as cost and ease of use across the organization. The solution did not make users experience better but only served what it was good at, providing payroll and direct deposit functions.

Ease of use stood as the 2nd and cost of implementation and maintenance ensure we are able to implement and finally use the tool across the organization and for multiple functions with rich native features. Scalability and cloud solutions were also paramount being born in cloud organization and serving small to medium orgs.
I would possibly look at some of the easy but overlooked implementation steps to ensure they do not become a sore point and elongate the overall implementation timelines and ease of use as expected by the tool and hence review the documentation and demos to ensure this for all the features.
