Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is used across the organization to produced financial reporting to 18 Charter Schools. Sage Intacct has allowed us to produce consolidated reporting and reduced the time spent for month-end closings. We have also introduced ADP as a SAGE partner. This new addition allow us to close the gap for faster closings.

We have automated the Accounts Payable portion partnering with AVID and Bank of America. We have also automated the PO conversion into AP.
As we have multiple corporations and multiple charter schools, we have taken advantage of the multi-entity module and it is working well for us. The advantage to run reports per entity or per school, as well as to run a consolidated report has great visibility for the company as well as stakeholders.
We use an external implementer as the set up can be complicated, especially with intercompany transactions and multiple fund balancing.
Robust reporting and the ability to automated inter company transactions among multiple companies/schools. Great customer service and right on the money you would like to spend on a good program.

As a management company for charter schools, we managed six different companies with different FEIN numbers. After looking at many softwares, Sage Intacct was the only one that have the best possibilities to have a single user and go across companies to create our financial reporting without issues.

Faster Closing, Payroll integration, Multi Entity Integration.
The ability to do more with less has allow the company to work smarter and allow our employees to go home with the peace of mind that everything can be done in a timely basis.

We have been able to move the ADP date via API to the SAGE general ledger with just a push of a button. We are working on banking integration with Bank of America.
We look at general performance through our dashboard for each of the schools. Cash balances, fund balances, pending purchase orders and accounts payable aging. We have been able to modify the dashboards depending on the users roles.
Quick and easy transactional balancing of multi-entity consolidation gives us the full view of how the schools are operating.
We are a management company that serves 6 different boards. The change to SAGE has allow us to provide accurate financial reporting to our board and stakeholders in an accurate and faster pace. We also saw a reduction of manpower due to improvements within the system, which help the overall cost of the organization.

We are non-for-profit public charter schools. We do not se the receivable portion of the program as our revenue is simple and does not require billing.
This is the major impact SAGE has done to our company. The system has allow us to prepare financials in less time even we need to do financial for 22 entities.

AVID payments - We are in the process to get direct SAGE integration when ready to push payments to AVID.ADP - WE have a API push to SAGE for all payroll general ledger entries.

On any implementation, you have to juggle between doing your day to day work and having the time to go through videos to learn the system. It was time consuming. We were implemented in the middle of Covid so it took us a little bit longer than expected.

We have issues with the Fixed Asset module as our closing was fiscal. We paid for the module but we were not able to implemented.

I came from QuickBooks and Sage Intacct changed our entire department tasks and time spend creating financials.

Sage Intacct Reliability

The software is scalable to any users as it is a user license based. You can customize depending on the needs of the users.
We have never experience an issue of availability.
