Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
Webexpenses is used by my organization to manage claimable expenses. It is being used across the whole company in order to, and the problem of, accounting for individual claims. It can be used by any employee that may need to claim back any costs the company cover.
Pros
- Simplifies the claiming process
- Lets you see at a glance whether something has been approved
- Has a dashboard when logging in to show where claims are up to.
- You are able to scan receipts as physical proof
- You can receive email alerts and push notifications when a claim has been actioned
Cons
- Accessibility options - visual options e.g. text size/color
- Drop-down list of possible options when claiming, such as mileage or 'fees'
- A "quick claim" function, based on your most common previous claims
- I have no idea, I am further down the chain
I have used Webexpenses to simplify the claiming process with my employer. I no longer have various forms to sign, email, have stamped, etc, it can all be done through the app or website, probably within a fraction of the time it'd take people without webexpenses to try to get in to see their payroll department!
I haven't really had the experience of using another or similar service so cannot truthfully say. I will say however, that webexpenses would take some beating!

Using Webexpenses
1000 - A tricky question, seeing as I'm a cog in the machine, but knowing that pretty much everyone in the company who has charges to claim for, be it professional fees, vehicle mileage and tokens of good will from management (let's face it - it doesn't come out of their pocket!) webexpenses takes the pain out of trying to claim©️
Typically people in either the finance/payroll department or I.T department
- Streamlines the expenses claiming procedure
- Saves time and person hours in trying to consolidate a person's expenses
- The fact you can view your individual claim(s) to see what stage of the process they're at
- Allows users to submit various claims in one place!
- The only example I can give is when I site based staff member helped the relief team - they were able to be paid their milage accurately on each leg of their journey, thanks to the webexpenses app
- Literally, for anything!

Yes - Brilliantly! The page/app adjusts really well to different screen sizes so there's no bunching of information of panels. The text is clear to read
