Overall Satisfaction with WebPT

We use WebPT for our scheduling, documentation and customer connection. They have a comprehensive product with additional add-ons available. They have always been a leading source of accurate info and quality service in the industry.
  • We can rest easy knowing that the latest ICD-10 codes are going to be in the system, along with any modifiers that are needed. WebPT won't finalize a note unless it is correctly organized.
  • The scheduling module makes it easier to add a patient's schedule and track it. There are email reminders included with the system so that our patients don't forget their appointments.
  • The new analytics component is a great tool! We can keep an eye on key metrics to catch issues before they get too big.
  • There are many reports you can run to keep things running well!
  • Charges easily flow over from WebPT to our billing software.
  • I do wish that in addition to marking an original document as "AMENDED" when a change is required, they would inset or in some other way highlight any amended text in the final copy.
  • Though it is rare, the system does occasionally go offline. Those times are usually fairly brief. They hardly happened at all the first 7-8 years but there have been a few more issues in the last couple years.
  • When we started with WebPT, we could call and get instant customer service. Now we have to email or leave a message and wait for a reply. The response time is much slower than it used to be.
  • The ability to store our records electronically without a limit is a huge benefit. We are almost 100% digital for our discharged records thanks to them and appreciate the ability to do so without an increased cost.
  • There is a lot of data at our fingertips to evaluate outcomes and productivity.
Over all we use Webpt without many modifications - but I think it can do more if we tweaked it. They have the tools available, we just have to use them.
I used to feel that I could count on WebPT to cover us completely to the best of their ability but there have been a few more holes lately.

We used this other software before WebPT and had a lot of trouble. WebPT is head and shoulders above in all the elements they cover.

WebPT does the basics well and has many things you can pay to add. They are trying to have a connected system that addresses all your needs. Chiropractors are now being supported as well. They seem to be growing a bit too fast and are in danger of losing their quality support.

Using WebPT

20 - Clinicians, Office Management, Scheduling, Reception, Billing are all represented by our users of WebPT.
1 - Over all, we do not need in house support. We contact WebPT and they take care of things if there is a problem. One person is the lead contact for that and tries to get things addressed quickly.
  • Complete and correct medical documentation is vital to any practice and we have that with WebPT.
  • We have to keep track of our schedule and that is so much easier that doing it on paper or the system we used to use.
  • To keep the business running we have to be able to bill. WebPT seemlessly integrates with other billing software to transfer needed codes, diagnosis info, and supporting details.
  • WebPT has fantastic training for other issues affecting the PT industry.
  • WebPT links to a product for MIPS support, another for patient engagement, etc.
It is far to cumbersome to switch - and many things are great. I am not 100% sure we would start with them now if we weren't already there.

Evaluating WebPT and Competitors

Yes - Compulink - it was very problematic and created major headaches.

Loved having info kept in the cloud so we didn't have to have a big server. Love being able to access remotely.
There are a lot more options now so more to choose from. We have seen a lot of reviews from others in the industry and feel that is a great resource.

WebPT Implementation

They worked well with us to give many tools for success. Recorded info, a database, direct training, webinars, etc.

WebPT Support

They used to be a 9 or a 10, it takes a lot longer and we are not always satisfied with the answers now. But over all it is a solid product. 99% Of the support team are friendly and helpful.

I cannot recall a specific time, but we have had many times where we get exceptional support. Friendly, knowledgeable timely help has happened several times.

  • Scheduling is pretty straight forward and easy to use.
  • Appointment reminders are very simple to set up.
  • Documentation is decent, some things could be easier according to my therapists.
  • SOAP 2.0 was too much, our therapists are not using it. Fortunately, WebPT is not requiring the switch.
  • Entering Patient demographics used to be a breeze - then they "Improved it" years ago and you have to open and close a bunch of windows. It is a lot more cumbersome.
