Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We use wrike for day to day task planning. With our generalized workflow that consists of wrike task management and deadline structure. The only limit we have with wrike management is the flow between company leads and project managers. Where the is no platform for task scoping on a level above basic workflow structures.

Pros

  • Task reminder mails are well structured for reminders
  • The user flow is quite easy to understand
  • Love the search bar for previous work projects
  • Nice interface design

Cons

  • Loading times and refresh rates. (Especially when starting up)
  • Overall interface flow could improve as its tricky to get to certain sub tasks
  • Date assignment is over complicated for what is needed, sometimes bugs out if your flow is wrong
  • For us as a company not as significantly, but for our team definitely quite a lot
  • For having an international team, Wrike helps us to allocate appropriate project tasks with time based executables. Which is a great benefit for teams
  • Wish the interface was a bit more customizable for business objectives
Wrike is an inbetweener for me, with Trello being a basic entry level platform, but it is free.. which is great to use. Where Jira is a complex platform to use, well laid out for bigger company basses... but quite costly. I do wish that Wrike had more of a sprint task basis that the tasks are situated around. Unless Im just missing the function (UX improvement?).

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Wrike is well suited for small to medium businesses. Where workflow overviews and departmentalized managers are easily accessible. I do wish there was a discussion platform implemented on wrike to have live discussions if needed, as comments are sometimes vague and can take time to reply on. Linked deadlines would also be a great upgrade, and not just for general projects, but co-dependent project deadlines which influence each other on a percentage base, would be a great aspect to add.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

I would probably want to review the workflow basis to see whether a smaller team with big executables would be good for a platform like wrike, or if we would rather go out and find a platform that is more communitive and interactive with workers. The platform is awesome, but id definitely something we will move away from in the near future.

Using Wrike

Wrike is easy to use. The interface is nice and modern as well, which I love. But yet again, on the limits we face to expand/improve workflow is a bit limiting. Which is why we would like to look for a platform with key integrations from other interfaces to ease workflow quite significantly.
ProsCons
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
None
  • Task viewing and assigning
  • Commentary on tasks and reassigning
  • Generalised user interfacing on the task itself is quite limiting.
  • There are gaps like no preset task saves for repeated usage
