I would say that Docebo had the best platform in terms of it's UI and some of the features it offered. But overall, SAP Litmos won in terms of administrator capabilities and ease of use.

We utilize Absorb LMS as our online course delivery platform for a large academic medical center with numerous off-site locations. Absorb LMS is a robust platform allowing us to deliver meaningful education to staff across the enterprise in an easy-to-use interface for end users with robust reporting options for educators and managers to continue to track staff compliance. We transitioned to Absorb LMS from a different platform four years ago and the ease of use, customer support and reliable interface has not gone unnoticed.
It is well suited for fast-paced businesses or ones that are less traditional with their learning delivery. We deal with live events, so the learning style is excellent for us as it is more vibrant. We have a workforce with a huge range of capabilities, and the e-learning on offer is proven to be universal.
Customer Service - Our CSM, Kirsten Spak, provides friendly, timely and high quality help and has helps us to understand and efficiently use the system.
Course Creation - We have been able to create custom courses with a wide range of features, including branding, audio, video and assessments.
Reporting - Absorb LMS offers a robust reporting function which allows us to understand our users and meet the needs of our partners when user information is required for their projects.
The ability to generate learner-specific, real-time dashboards with advanced filters and visual representations would provide greater insights into training effectiveness and learner performance.
While Absorb LMS offers mobile access, further optimizing the mobile user/admin interface would cater to the modern workforce's mobile learning needs more effectively.
Implementing AI technologies to provide personalized learning paths based on individual learner data and performance metrics could up the perception of modernism for users
I generally feel that any challenges I experience are due to the vast flexibility the platform has. My gut tells me that my minor issues are actually a result of certain functionality needing to be there to meet the needs of other customers, and it's not Litmos' fault that my specific workflow doesn't fit exactly into their functionality. It's a matter of me determining how I can update my workflow to fit the feature set.
We have no plans to move away from Absorb at this time. It has all of the functionality we are looking for in a learning management system and we have a lot of info stored in our LMS system for trainings including all of our current and past employee transcripts. It is also getting easier to manager with being able to connect the LMS to ADP to update employee reporting/department/location/etc. We don't have a need or reason to move away from Absorb at this time.
For what we need in the very near future, Litmos does not offer us the required capability. Ideally, we are looking for an integrated LMS, coaching, mobile support and content creation platform. Litmos may have the LMS part covered but there are other platforms that do this better along with providing an integrated all-in-one service or at the very least support API integration with other vendors to meet our requirements.
Absorb LMS is easy to use from both a user experience and admin experience. For users, navigating the site to complete assignments or finding courses to develop new skills is very user-friendly. As an admin, the course creation tools walk you through each step simply, but have a ton of functionality to support any of your training needs.
Absorb LMS's performance is very reliable and consistent. Pages load quickly. Report are generated within a reasonable amount of time (even with significant amounts of data), etc. Nothing seems to slow it down.
Absorb LMS's client service managers have been extremely responsive, efficient, and available. While we pay for a higher level of support, we have found it well worth the investment. We've been less pleased with the accounting side of the organization, but that has little impact on the delivery of training to our clients and employees.
If I could give it a negative rating I would. Worst support from any program I have had. Everything is back and forth in the support ticket. The one time I tried to chat they could not support the question. Their support page is so full of sections and products I can never find anything I need, even with a customized home page. I was hopeful that once they left SAP support might improve but it has not. I don't even know who my account executive is. Nobody has ever reached out to me. I need someone to guide me through best practices for our company and there is nobody to do that.
It was a good overview of the platform, but of course it was more of a basic overview of how to use the platform. The team provided a good training, but I would of liked a better deep dive into some of the features.
Some of the best online training I've taken from any LMS platform. It was well put together and kept me engaged the entire time. It has a good amount of HR Compliance mixed with soft skills training that the team liked. Overall, it has a robust online suite of training that any company can use.
We have done two implementations. The first wasn't completed by me, but the second was. I had to do a lot of data migration across from the first system into the new instance. This was really time-consuming, and it would have been great to have had an option for someone else to have completed this for us. Learning about the tool has also been up to us, and whilst the content was good, it was also high level and broad, and then getting into the specifics of our setup was really just left to us to complete on our own and have a go. We got there, but probably could have been faster with some additional support from a consultant.
hands down favorite in look, function, cost and service. Others were close but could not meet our external and internal cases. Our current one (we looked at them again) did not have 40% of the functionality or value, despite the bargain cost, it was not worth it to continue. Only new hires used our LMS for onboarding because they had to; no one went back for more training. With Absorb our classes are more dynamic and targeted.
I made a choice of this tool because of great review message on internet about the advantage of litmos. Also as cost is concerned I saw it to be favourable to me more than other which are Abit expensive. Litmos also have intuitive user interface which made me to fall for it.
This is one of the main reasons we chose Absorb as our LMS. It is a very user-friendly application that is able to be deployed across multiple departments in geographically dispersed locations. It works amazingly well for us.
Pretty easy to scale this LMS and can be deployed companywide in all departments for us. The team's function allows you build separate teams that can easily be assigned specific courses, so it makes it much easier to deploy
We use the LMS as first-level client training; it gets clients' feet wet before they take a live training course. Clients appreciate that we can give them admin access so that they can be in control of their users' learning paths.
We have used the LMS for our recent internal product certification and have been able to track completions and scores of employees to get a better feel for internal product knowledge and award prizes, making it fun for the participants.
Since we have created the certification program, each new hire is enrolled in the program. This has been great for onboarding new hires.
