Please contact ADP for a product demo and ask about a hands-on "test drive" of Workforce Now.
Aladtec is an annual subscription based on the number of people the customer has using the system, so it's fairly priced for any size organization.
A lot of products attempt to please everybody and in the end please nobody. They make their products too complicated and too customizable so they don't really work well, they lack structure. ADP has experience and support, it gives you just enough ability to create your own …
ADP Workforce Now has greater integration possibilities, scheduling and data management capabilities than Payworks. ADP Workforce Now is better designed for businesses with more complex needs. I have found ADP's customer service more responsive and better informed to help …
Great system and easy to use by employees for payroll and time off but too many functions to master easily. Don't want to call ADP for support every time I need assistance.
Price, user experience, user interface, all in one system, customization, on-boarding and payroll. ADP customization with user fields, employment profile and automation of employment changes, on-boarding and off-boarding.
ADP Workforce Now is hands-down much more user-friendly with more functionality than Paylocity. Reporting is also much easier and better on ADP Workforce Now. Integrations, much more fluid on ADP Workforce Now.
From the very beginning, we’ve felt completely confident in every step of our journey with ADP Workforce Now. The clarity and guidance we’ve received have been immaculate, and at no point have we ever felt confused or unsure of what the next steps were. The communication has …
I also used UltiPro (way back -- it didn't even appear in dropdown). Recommend ADP Workforce Now above all others. Paycor and Paycom were both very clunky. I even helped implement Paycom and could never get it to work how the business needed it to.
Dayforce was used for a previous acquisition. We only used it for a few months, but I was so glad we didn't need to continue using it. It was not an easy platform to use at the time. Not sure if it has gotten any better since we were required to use it.
ADP Workforce Now is a mature player with many customers, which means issues tend to be well-documented, patches distributed, and there is institutional support for keeping things running.
Because many core needs (payroll, benefits, HR, compliance) are bundled, often there is …
We are seriously considering moving to Paylocity due to challenges with labor allocations in ADP Workforce Now. Currently, it’s difficult to preview payroll reports when labor allocations are applied. The system breaks down the payroll register by employee and allocation, but …
ADP Workforce Now has a more robust reporting program, ADP has better hours for customer service, and was much easier to learn. I have used both Paycom and Paychex and both came with little to no training, and was a pain to learn. The reporting was less than desirable. ADP was …
Very comparable items. UKG seems to have better reports to build. More customizable dashboard for employees. As of right now, the customer service is quicker. ADP Workforce Now is widely known and therefore more people seem comfortable with it. I do hate when a new hire has …
ADP offers a more robust catalogue of solutions, making it a true HRIS system as opposed to other solutions, such as Gusto or QuickBooks. Both are great for payroll processing and QuickBooks for enhanced accounting support, but neither is an HRIS system that allows you to …
ADP Workforce Now stacks up pretty well however Paycom seems like it would be a lot easier to navigate and use. All the data is centralized in one platform section making searching and setting up a lot easier. Compared to ADP Workforce Now if you search in one area for data and …
Our company was with Paycom and while it was very customizable - it required a lot of manual entry / management - often in multiple places within the system. Paycom did not offer the ability to easily scale that we were looking for - they also did not have a clean solution for …
ADP works better- user friendly. The reporting is the main reason I prefer ADP over UKG. There is simply no comparison! ADP make is easy to pull information you need in no time at all. I felt like with UKG you needed to be a pro at building reports. Hands down ADP is better
They pale compared to ADP because they each have broken systems that do not flow from beginning to end. Another system is required to support all of the functions needed to process payroll. That puts too much on me, the person, instead of the system. We should work smarter, not …
The employee facing app for Paycom is better than ADP but on the back side administration ADP is more robust and provides a better experience for the payroll professional.
Each software took some time to understand and learn to use. Aladtec encompasses more information and makes the process of trading duty crews easier. EMS was easier to print out an individual schedule, something I'm not sure Aladtec does. EMS didn't need supervisor approval for …
The features, functionality, user-friendliness and cost were all factors. Aladtec surpassed all 4 of the other systems we evaluated, most especially with their customer support. We have not had major problems but the few minor glitches we had (all our fault, admittedly) were …
We have not done a lot of research on other products, so we really can't compare. We have been very happy with Aladtec for the past 13 years. Their customer service, knowledgeable staff, affordable pricing, and progressive nature for customer satisfaction has kept us happy. …
UKG Pro is hard on the eyes, not as intuitive, and the payroll module is rather complex. The system is very powerful but it is best suited for seasoned system admins, which not all HR teams have this type of expertise.
I selected Paylocity because of ease of use. ADP is clunky and Paycom makes a lot of claims that are not true. isolved is the most basic system I've ever used.
Paylocity is SO far ahead of Paycor, it's not even funny. Just from the implementation standpoint alone, Paycor was an absolute nightmare. Paylocity had some struggles, but that goes along with any implementation. The experience with Paylocity was LIGHTYEARS ahead of our …
Paycom, you select your integrations, you have way more integrations than are possible for them. So it makes it easier to be a one-stop shop on all those integrations.
I've used ADP, UKG, I've used quite a bit. So I think that it's in comparison, I think it's kind of ranked up there. One two. From my experience, again, it's just the ease of navigation, the steps to bring onboarding and communication. I like it. It's just a great product.
I feel like they all provide approximately the same services, and it came down to honesty. Both Paychex and Paycor were dishonest with us, and I wasn't comfortable staying with them.
Paylocity exceeds our previous payroll provider by leaps and bounds. It's exactly why we switched. It is also beneficial to have our recruiting as an all in one platform rather than going between two providers.
I have used ADP and Paycor in previous companies. Paylocity was already in place when I started working here. It functions well, so I am not compelled to make a change.
honestly, we liked Paycom better from a user interface standpoint, but it came down to pricing and Paylocity was cheaper than Paycom and for the price differential it was significant enough to be the difference in our choice. ADP never actively engaged us as i think we were …
Rippling didn't deliver 10% of what they told us they would deliver. When we came back to Paylocity, we were told we would be able to access all historical employee data indefinitely, but when we lost access one year later, I was told we'd have to pay $1,000 to gain access to …
I have recently used and processed HR functions in Paycom. I feel that Paylocity is a much better platform for both employees and managers. The set-up is much more user-friendly and less complicated, so there's less confusion for staff & management. Things are able to be …
We used Sage Abra before and had a few other programs prior to Sage. We were using Sage for close to 10 years. The reporting in Paylocity is much more useful and robust. We looked at several other platforms including ADP. Some had better platforms and reporting, but for the …
ADP was very similar to the way Paylocity is, but I seem to favor Paylocity to be honest. Miter was VERY difficult to use and set up. I wouldn't ever consider using that software ever again. I didn't like a lot of aspect Miter had to offer either. Paylocity would always be my …
My great experiences with ADP are largely due to the experience I have within the system and the service level we receive through Kelly and Brian. On the technical side, we have immense support from Abhayjyot Mann who heavily supports the payroll team with any request or problem. All in all, my team is satisfied with ADP and are excited for our continued partnership.
Aladtec works well in a large organization where employees need to access the schedule from all different locations/devices and being able to make adjustments on the go. Aladtec allows the adding of meetings, training, and work shifts all on the same calendar and details can be seen by clicking on the individual item. Aladtec allows the adding of many details and to customize looking at the calendar for each individual.
I have already recommended Paylocity to another company and they are using it. The ability to streamline multiple platforms into one is the key feature as it saves time. Also, the speed of loading, the customer service help, and the ease of payroll processing are all reasons why we like utilizing Paylocity. It would be nice to have a referral bonus program as I was told there wasn't one when I referred the company and they signed up
Payroll is made pretty easy. I love that we have the ability to log into payroll, we just upload the information from commissions, things like that where there are exceptions to a regular payroll run. It may make it very easy to do that, just a quick upload. Additionally, when we're in the payroll grid, it gives us the ability to just make quick changes to people's pay or their tax schedule, tax withholdings, things like that without having to go through a lot of different screens. It's just very easy to access just for the click of a button. Love that.
We talked about performance reviews, talked about payroll with benefits administration, it allows us to utilize EDI feeds with our benefit vendors so it creates a seamless, but we just enter the information into Paylocity and then it seamlessly provides that information to our vendors. That's been really helpful. And adjusting benefits is also very easy within Paylocity. I love the recent edition of compensation analysis information, so I'm able to go into the compensation module and look for jobs that are similar to a job title at our company. I can enter the job description, I give them what state that the person or the job is in, and it pops out compensation data. It gives me different options, so titles that might be similar. So if there's not something that's an exact fit, I'm able to find something really, really close. It's been a huge upgrade because before that I was having to use a different vendor and paying $400 per job and now it's significantly less expensive to Paylocity and I'm still getting great quality data. It's been very helpful.
Any specific improvements I have already mentioned to Aladtec and (I'm thrilled to report) several have already been implemented. They even made system accommodations for colorblind users - an industry first!
I am excited to see further development of the custom forms so we can merge to a completely paperless schedule & payroll system.
Although there is no specific fleet management tool, we have worked with Aladtec's Customer Support pros to develop a ways to accurately record all of our vehicles for scheduling maintenance, in-service and down time.
I'd like to see a forum in which users could discuss the platform, raise both questions and concerns. I feel that changes are done without enough input from users.
Improving hold time recently with customer service.
Accuracy of new 'graphic' payroll report - the new report is not complete when payroll is done, so it is unusable from my perspective. I rely on the preprocess payroll register. This is one of those 'improvements' that have not been positive in my experience.
We are happy with the service and options offered by ADP. Although the cost is a bit high for a not-for-profit organization, it is essential that we have multi-jurisdictional support for the 20 plus states where employees work and reside. As our company is diminishing in size, we may need to look at making a change to conserve costs. At this time, that would be the only reason we would not renew our WFN contract.
We most likely will because we are learning how to use it better all the time. It does integrate with our Advanced Benefits. But the customer service is not responsive when needing help. It almost always requires several contacts to get anywhere, and the contacts can be several days apart. Once you actually get to TALK to someone, things are usually resolved fairly quickly, but their email system is not efficient. I get half answers and they close the ticket! But once I can get to someone, it is almost always great service. Very hard to get someone though.
Lack of documentation and test environment make it extremely difficult to deploy work processes through the system. While there are a handful of things throughout the system that work well, particularly from an employee's perspective, many tasks, which would be simple for practitioner users in other systems, require these users to ask for administrator support. Additionally, the ghosts in the ADP machine cause established process (e.g. automated report delivery) to stop working with no notice and no error report.
I simply love Paylocity! We have run into some issues, but no company is going to be perfect. The flow of the modules is really nice, no double entry of data. The Time & Labor flows into Payroll nicely and Benefits flows into the employees Pay Setup which goes onto the employees paycheck with little to no issues.
Over the last 3 years, we've only had one major service issue that rendered Airbase unusable for us for about 24 hours. That said, they navigated the SVB bank crisis very well and made sure funds were available during that time.
Overall, I think the functionality of the program works pretty well. Sometimes, certain browsers do not work well for the policy function of ADP, but that is the only issue thus far
We had some minor hiccups throughout the year but they have all been fixable. Paylocity integrates well with our 401k provider, Principal, and our benefits, OneDigital. It makes it simple to house everything and have it all connected. It doesn't slow anything down to have Principal integrated. It makes it more efficient
The Bridge is great for self-service. The ticketing system is effective and people are responsive. I really like the chat feature which is available for many sections of ADP. Those agents are top notch and quick to get you an easy and correct answer
Aladtec has given the support needed, especially in learning the new system and bringing it up to speed for the entire workforce. There is a need to reach out to them when everything freezes, which is rare. This system has been fairly smooth after it had been in use for at least 6 months.
I really appreciate that we are assigned a support manager. That person is very familiar with our set up, our needs and our history. However, I've spoken to others on the support team and have had very positive interactions and get the help needed.
In-person training was pretty good - I think this significantly depends on the trainer. Our trainer was really good and showed what ADP can do - but I know that all trainers are not the same - and this truly makes such as difference. Overall, our training went pretty well.
I didn't have in-person training, but I'm sure it was just as great as any other training/assistance Paylocity provides. Paylocity customer service is always available. You never have to be on hold and their answers are always accurate and timely. Documents in the help section are helpful as well. My in-person training was conducted y one of our employees who was involved in the initial set-up and training of all employees. She was excellent.
At the time training was not as expansive as it is now. If it could go wrong it did for me so the process was difficult and lengthy. I needed to have more in person walkthroughs of things to ensure the transition was done correctly. Not sure what else I can say, we were part of the initial move to Workforce Now when it was introduced.
Our rep was very thorough and made sure we fully understood the software before turning us loose alone. Paylocity was very good to do periodic check ins to ensure we understood the features and answered any questions we had. The training reps are very well trained and are very patient with clients.
Either assign more than one specialist to the implementation process, or assign less clients to the implementation specialist. The process requires attention to detail and the ability to test and re-test as well as verify the information. It also requires a lot of back and forth between the client ant the implementation specialist, so they need to be readily available during the whole implementation process.
We were handed off to multiple implementation people, some quit, one went on leave, one left suddenly, one was transfered to a diff dept...all causing a significant amount of disruption for our team. Many had conflicting info on how to properly set things up...hence a complete mess was left for us to figure out
ADP Workforce Now has greater integration possibilities, scheduling and data management capabilities than Payworks. ADP Workforce Now is better designed for businesses with more complex needs. I have found ADP's customer service more responsive and better informed to help customize the product, reports, and/or just clarify instructions to complete payroll. Payworks may be better suited for small businesses with simply payroll needs, however ADP does offer the On The Go platform which stacks up well them, so I would advise someone to explore this option as well.
The features, functionality, user-friendliness and cost were all factors. Aladtec surpassed all 4 of the other systems we evaluated, most especially with their customer support. We have not had major problems but the few minor glitches we had (all our fault, admittedly) were resolved quickly. The staff not only responded immediately but they made sure we fully understood what happened, helping us prevent future frustrations.
Paylocity is SO far ahead of Paycor, it's not even funny. Just from the implementation standpoint alone, Paycor was an absolute nightmare. Paylocity had some struggles, but that goes along with any implementation. The experience with Paylocity was LIGHTYEARS ahead of our experience with Paycor, and the system itself is so, so much better.
We have several departments that utilize the reporting, utilize the timecards and the system. We also have self service that is nice for all of our employees. This system allows us to designate what each group can see, and what employees can change, or who can clock in and out offsite
We have gone from a medium sized company to a larger company with no issues whatsoever with Paylocity being able to keep up or do what we need it to do for the size of our needs. In fact, it does more than we even use at this juncture
ADP Workforce Now handles all of our tax filing which frees up our time to do other things. They keep us compliant communicating updates on a timely basis.
Calculates payrolls accurately. Our management and employees have built a level of confidence due to the ease of pulling statements, year end documents etc.
A really nice feature is the follow up email what a change has been made to banking information. There were a couple of times the employee did not make changes to their account information. This kept their funds from getting routed into the wrong hands.
Less time spent on scheduling. More time on staff management and operations.
Affordable solution to scheduling and staff notifications. Very cheap compared to other similar vendors.
Streamlined operations for our department by using this software and database. Staff can access what they need anytime they want by computer or cell phone.
Paylocity has helped us with recruitment by streamlining the process and making it efficient. It is saving me time.
Paylocity has also helped us with compensation so we can create a fair and robust compensation plan.
I also like using the data insights feature, which helps me keep track of over time, payroll and benefits costs, and retention numbers. This also saves me time as it is all in one place.
