Smartlook is an analytics solution tool for websites, iOS/Android apps, and various app frameworks, that answers the "whys" behind users' actions. It helps users understand precisely how customers interact with website and app — watch recordings, create heatmaps, use automatic tracked events, and build conversion funnels. Data is seen on one central dashboard, which enables sharing and collaborating with colleagues. This is to support clear, data-driven decision-making for product managers,…

All Smartlook packages support both web and mobile app platforms.
We actually did an integration with Kochava. Our integration was Server To Server. It did not work out - we never got the right attribution. It was also a challenge to verify a real end-to-end campaign with a mobile network. To be fair, this was done 3-4 years ago, and Kochava …
Kochava was bad. A lot of bugs at that time, and it charges for every event triggered. We used Kochava for only around 6 months and we moved to AppsFlyer.
Branch is good but they have limited attribution and integrations with publishers. Also, the dashboard is not as comprehensive and requires a lot of manual work to do analysis. Kochava is much more expensive for the same type of services, hence we prefer AppsFlyer which is the …
Both were entirely bad, especially Kochava. Poor CSM support and very little attention given to their clients. We use Firebase for all other in-app analytics and measuring the success rate of any given feature.
AppsFlyer is by far the best one because of ease of use. They have great cost aggregation, are cheap to use, and have strong technical expertise and a good customer success team. Their solution is sophisticated enough, has great reporting views, and is a sound, technically …
It was priced well with great support so it was a no brainer for us to go with AppsfFyer. Also, Appsflyer was integrated with everyone we wanted to use where the competition was not. This was the major deciding factor and also the price point is very startup-friendly for indie …
Adjust is the best, followed by AppsFlyer. The rest are a joke and should be ashamed of themselves for putting out products that don't give marketers the insights they need to facilitate growth or identify fraud.
I personally recommend AppsFlyer over the other tracking software because it's easy to use and we can get all necessary details at one click. And especially the Protect360 feature is the best fraud tracking module that I have ever seen.
Kochava is good from pricing point of view when you scale up. Both are equal in terms of core features and attribution. However, UI wise AppsFlyer is better.
Honestly, Kochava is at the bottom of the haystack as an MMP, and we often only use it when it is suggested by our clients. However, if we start to see improvements we will consider using them more often. As of now, it is not competitive with the aforementioned platforms.
Appsflyer is excellent for running numerous campaigns across many clients and keeping track of real-time performance. Attribution is top-notch and the platform is up to date with the innovations in the area while keeping its effective & trustworthy information. Exporting reports could be a bit more friendly but all in all, a truly great MMP.
Beneficial for creating a quarterly report of top-quality campaign data sources for the company's marketing department, integrated with networks and publications.
It is a marketing solution that is being used to manage and analyze data from mobile application campaigns.
You're also helping employees accomplish difficult tasks while keeping company data protected.
Smartlook is best for screen recordings. Especially when you are running MVPs. However, its pricing is very high. If your daily visitors are too much then either you will have to lose many of your recordings or you will have to pay too much money.
Appsflyer does deep linking well. It was reliable and works better than any past partner we've used. We no longer invest time and resources in fielding internal flags about broken links.
Appsflyer does particularly well at telling the story on industry landscape, identifying areas of opportunity for our brand to grow based on the depth and breadth of their experience in mobile.
The Appsflyer team offers best in class customer service. The account managers are knowledgeable, responsive, bright, invested and a pleasure to work with.
Kochava is a full attribution tracking system that includes the ability to track mobile apps and browser versions. It has a well-organized dashboard that provides us with useful information.
As my ratings show, I have been absolutely delighted with Smartlook in terms of usability, cost, support, and its benefit to our organization. I have given it such high ratings because I think it has really benefitted our organization and I think it could do the same for other companies too.
The UI can be used by anyone with a little understanding of the business. However, may features are somehow hidden and the UI is a bit confusing for beginners. It's not so easy to know where each feature is. It is also not easy to figure out how certain values are calculated.
Every page, the tool setup pages and dashboards are built very well, the site structure is perfectly designed and intuitive to use. All functions are well documented and the help sections are really everywhere, you don't have to search for answers, as they are just popped up or max. a click away for your service.
Overall support is good, fast to respond and helps us with both tool related queries as well as publisher related escalations when it comes to fraud or attribution, as they step in and help justify on our behalf. They have a very small team though in India, it's time for them to scale up the team probably and assign exclusive support folks to large clients.
Sofia P. is being our point of contact with the issues we faced. I was unsure about how to explain to her what was going on with the recording numbers (the recording has stopped before we were expecting to), but she readily understood and came with a solution for us in the same day. The problem was blocking our developer to test the integration, so it was great to have support so fast that he could continue his work.
Appsflyer is generally a more comprehensive and robust platform offering advanced analytics, detailed attribution, and strong fraud prevention features compared to its competition in the market. Also, Appsflyer is a pretty old and well-known name in the market.
It is a wonderful option with favorable virtues to be applied in the company's marketing process, it allows us to obtain information through consultation and analysis, they are attentive and friendly when offering their service and support, it also includes functions such as a fraud tool for the management of push consent, very useful for additional reports in analysis teams, is also competitive because it is providing adequate payment alternatives.
It has been a year between the time when I last used Hotjar and first started using Smartlook. I would say both tools are more or less equal when it comes to features, the only 2 differences I can think of are - price and customer support. Smartlook is cheaper and has superior customer services. You have the feeling when interacting with them that they genuinely care.
Kochava is important because it helps us to study and track smart connections useful for evaluating the success of the marketing process.
Kochava provides us with several benefits, including the ability to collect all campaign performance data, as well as the ability to measure how much money we spend on our campaigns.
We can also use Kochava's app links and QR codes to boost our conversion.
Kochava's BI and third-party solutions provide real-time analytics and excellent reporting.
Smartlook is used by different individuals from different organizations to have insights into different parts of products. It is used as the sole developer of our website as well as marketing campaigns.
Smartlook has an amazing feature which is tracking the activities of return users.
