Chose Foxit eSign
eSign Genie offers the same basic functionality as DocuSign at a fraction of the price. Both eSign Genie and DocuSign are easy to use and have a relatively intuitive interface on both the requestor and signer side of things. DocuSign's mobile signature capture platform is …
Seem less professional and harder to use, slightly less easy to use than DocuSign. The price is much better though and I've found it does just as well. Not sure how it stacks up legally-wise to DocuSign?
Both DocuSign and Adobe Sign required that we purchase far more document folders than was practical given our project budget. However, what really sold us on eSign Genie was their accessibility and professionalism. eSign Genie's sales team took the time to walk us through their …
eSign offers all the same features and is a fraction of the cost!

eSign Genie made contacting customer support way easier than any other platform! I was able to get my questions answered and negotiate a contract within hours instead of weeks.
The price point is better than other products and allows all the same features. The learning curve is low and there’s multi functional across the organization.
We have used other e-sign platforms, but we have found that eSign Genie, although not a huge company, has performed well and met our needs on every level. I especially like how there is no monthly subscription, and we can have access to all input field types without having to …
eSign Genie has all the features of competing products at a more reasonable price. The customer service group is responsive and knowledgeable. They have quality on line training in the form of automated tutorials, live classes, and personal assistance.

More integration capabilities at a much more affordable rate. I haven’t personally tested other softwares; however, from what I’ve seen, other comparable softwares that have the same integration capabilities as eSign Genie cost much more. With eSign Genie, you get all of the …
We did our due diligence in advance and went with eSign Genie because it easily integrates with various storage solutions like Dropbox and Google Drive.
They all basically do the same thing. In terms of small business needs, I like eSign Genie the best, but I can't speak to their mobile capabilities. I do know HelloSign is great for mobile signing. I really like simplicity and the ability to automate processes, and this can be …
This product is well suited in the use case that I provided before: when it comes to onboarding employees and providing a clear channel for decision making for human resources, this is an excellent tool to accomplish that. I would say the weak points is when you have back and forth communication with users that it might seem a little redundant to have that back and forth communication in that scenario.
eSign Genie has completely streamlined our tedious document process and helps us to easily manage our documents from signature to delivery and even with ongoing storage. This enhancement saves us time, money, and headaches and has been a true lifesaver for our organization and for our customers. I highly recommend it!
Great for marking up depositions or pleadings with highlights, comments, and notes during case review. Supports Bates stamping, password protection, and other features often required for electronic filing.
Built-in tools allow for quick and secure redaction of privileged or confidential information before sharing or filing. Less appropriate if you needed to work on real time collaboration or building complex form templates from scratch.
FoxitPhantom carries superior editing tools over Adobe Acrobat and similar products. It allows you to modify text, images, & objects in a more robust fashion
Integrates well with Microsoft Office products such as Word, PPT, & Excel
Allows you to work in a nearly paperless environment
Tracking, particularly when collecting signatures through connected applications, such as an ATS, is not always clean or easily traceable.
Formatting documents to handle electronic signature types (signatures, initials, etc.) is not always easy, and highly dependent on the partner's technology.
It is not convenient to have to use DocuSign as a stand alone product if the signatures are required for 3rd party applications. It definitely excels on its own, but the scope of that usage, at least for us, is slim.
I have no complaints about this software whatsoever. I started using Echosign years ago until Adobe bought them out and tripled the price and cut features. Then, I went to Docusign that was not very user friendly and the customer support is NON-EXISTENT. eSign Genie is wonderful!
I have a dual monitor setup at work and there are times when I wish that I could view pdf documents on both monitors at the same time. I have not yet figured out how to do that with FoxitPhantom as it appears to limit the user to displaying multiple pdf documents as separate tabs on the same screen. If dual screen is an option in the software, it needs to be more apparent.
I can't think of any other desired improvements. This software really does everything that I need it to do.
I can't imagine doing business without DocuSign now. I would never want to go back to the way we used to do things. The "new way" is "the way" is "the right way." We can honestly be proud of a "one right way" process and not have to suffer through "5 ways for 5 days."
The tool is inexpensive and good value. We don't need a ton of eSign capabilities and this one provides what we need for a low cost given our low volume.
Because very few editors are so easy to use and deploy backed by speed and performance. Foxit PDF is known for its speed and performance, allowing users to open and work with PDF files quickly and efficiently
Foxit's user-friendly interface is easy to navigate and use, making it a popular choice for users who are new to PDF software.
Generally user-friendly once you have command of the basics, but also has a lot of nuances that can make it difficult to train others on. DocuSign University is a helpful tool, but understandably a lot of content to get through to become a well-versed user. A lot of different functionalities but only a few I use on a weekly basis.
Foxit PDF Editor works the way my brain works, so everything is where I expect it intuitively and that makes me hugely efficient. I love how all of the various features are laid out logically in tabs such as Fill & Sign, Organize, Form, etc. with the tools I expect to find where I expect to find them.
FoxitPhantom PDF integrates very well with the Microsoft Office products, which is where I found I use this the most. It performs about as well as can be expected, without any out of place latency. Whether it be merging, deleting, editing or rearranging pages, its performance holds up even with larger documents.
I'd give them a 10, but there has been 1 or 2 small cases that seemed to fall to the wayside, but I was able to call them up and get them resolved. We were having a bad implementation night (after midnight) and we needed assistance from Docusign. They were able to get an engineer to help us in the early morning hours
eSign Genie has live chat support virtually twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. They also have phone and email support as well. On the few occasions that I have had to contact support, they were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It's been a pleasure working with the folks at eSign Genie.
I haven't personally had interaction with the customer support from FoxitPhantom, however based on conversations I have had with members in the organization, I was given positive feedback. Their website has a lot of information and tutorials. If you need to contact them, they are quick to respond. User manuals are readily available.
Docusign is super easy to use, and apart from a few administration details, there was really nothing to train on. Post implementation, there were issues with configuration of auto-filled documents with the integrating 3rd party. That training required some time, because the DocuSign expert took the time to walk me through the 3rd party's configuration (how often does that happen?) so I could see how DocuSign should be best used to overcome weaknesses in the 3rd party platform. 10/10 expert care.
Until you get the hang of it, I recommend doing several internal tests before sending a document to a client. As I mentioned earlier, you have to go through a bit of trial and error at first to verify that the workflow works as expected.
There has never been anything that we could really compare to Docusign. We have tried sending documents in a PDF version, but that was not nearly as efficient. DocuSign saves your signature in the system and uses that as it goes through your documents.
Adobe Sign, despite coming from one of the best known brands in software, is the most frustrating and poorly-supported platform I've ever used. HelloSign and PandaDoc are good platforms - although the cost a bit more than eSignGenie, they are ahead on some features (not all)... depending on your exact use case, I'd consider them. However, for my simple use case, eSigngenie is the clear winner!
I would say that when you want to get a bigger share of the market and take business from long time consolidated applications like Acrobat, you really need to try harder and give something more to the user to be able to change their mind and switch to Foxit. In our case licensing was an important factor and at the beginning we had a small learning curve with users asking how to open PDF files and what was that orange icon. The truth is that we as users accepted the new software happily because simply said: it does the job. After using Foxit I would not go back to Acrobat, I like better the connectivity, the simplicity and the way it manages the tabs.
eSign Genie was the most affordable option of all vendors which helped us to stay within our project budget.
We were able to purchase a relatively small number of document folders which was more appropriate to our needs than say DocuSign which required something like 1,000 documents minimum.
The ease of use of eSign Genie helps us to implement new research studies without having to expend a lot of person hours to set things up.
