Chose Microsoft 365
Stability, high security, unique capabilities, speed of execution, cloud storage space, and compatibility and integration with other software has made this Microsoft product one of the best in the competitive market.
Chose Microsoft 365
The main point was the integration of the tools: backup + email + text editors, all in one tool; Employees had greater difficulty creating presentations on their competitors' tools, as well as more advanced use of data sheets.
Chose Microsoft 365
Microsoft Office 365 is more complete than Microsoft Office 2016. It is cloud-based, and this is a great advantage. Furthermore, now updates and upgrades are automatic and can be scheduled or accepted, really saving time compared to Office 2016.
Chose Microsoft 365
Microsoft Office 365 is the easiest to access on the go and is always up to date. It is also affordable given all of the features it offers. Being able to use most of Microsoft's products for one price is convenient and allows our organization to store and sort information over …
Chose Microsoft 365

Dropbox
Works well for all of my on-site visits for business or family events. I use it extensively in "spurts" by travelling every 2 weeks to clients to shoot their stores or work environments, so I findi t ideallly suieted for work pics and video organization. It is less appropriate for work requiring multiple edits, such as storing a work-related event and then editing it for later use.

I usually recommend Microsoft 365 to my clients to keep them away from the Exchange server (sorry!) Our business has a lot of issues with exchange email functions and copy machines. I always recommend they download the desktop version and use the online version as needed. You never know when you will be without an internet connection, but you can usually trust your laptop will have a decent charge, and you can still be productive! Let it sync when the powers are back on - or your connection is alive.

Microsoft
  • keeps me extremely organized. It is so easy to link calendars, emails, and documents.
  • keeps me well connected. It is so easy to send a quick message on teams or send an email to a group (for example, my particular team within the company).
  • easy to use. Everything is straightforward, making it easy to find an answer to a question. There is even a search option to figure out how to do something within Microsoft.

Cons
Dropbox
  • Sometimes sync doesn't work - if a file is scanned and appears in the shared dropbox folder it should show up elsewhere without delay.
  • Sometimes logins are required for mysterious reasons
  • Higher security and encryption is definitely something all data access companies need to improve.

  • Microsoft 365 really needs to work on protection part. In complex environment it is not reliable as compared to its competitors like Proofpoint. There are many instances where it fails to perform effectively.
  • In SharePoint Online the versioning feature of the document needs to be improved by Microsoft. Sometimes when we have to roll back to the previous version it does not work as expected.
  • In Teams messaging and app permission policies can be improved. There are some settings where we have to add a lot of things manually.

Dropbox is a user-friendly, easy tool which requires little to no skill and they offer a free version with a good amount of storage available. There are other file sharing tools available however at a cost. Dropbox free version I have used for years and it serves every purpose I need.

Usability
Dropbox
I've been using Dropbox for both business and personal use for over 20 years. I find it to be superior over many of the competitors like Google Drive, etc. I appreciate being able to allow clients to just view, or edit a document as well as downloading copies to send via the computer or a mobile device.

While Microsoft 365 is an amazing toolset, its still a Microsoft product. Sadly, I think the quality control regarding updates has dropped a lot the last few years. Also, I think things like the new Outlook are no improvement. In my opinion, so many features are missing. Still they proceed to push this. Microsoft knows their suite is one of the only of its kind broadly used and because of that, in my opinion, they can pull whatever they want on the users and do that without issue.

Performance
Dropbox
Dropbox is really useful, you can access any file from anywhere and you can upload and even edit files online, but, sometimes it can be slow. Downloading, uploading, and syncing is a bit slow, it can take several minutes. Furthermore, the search engine for large amounts of data can be slow too and it is not powerful.

They immediately responded like in an example that I gave where one of our staff members accidentally deleted the whole Special Hope Network Dropbox, we immediately contacted Dropbox they walked us through the steps of how to retrieve the information and luckily enough we were able to retrieve the entire Dropbox and we have had back and forth with Dropbox on what to do when an employee leaves how to remove them how to add another employee.

Over the past 8 years of using Microsoft 365, I have noticed that they change vendors often. This always leads to a poor experience in the beginning, then levels out after some time for the company to get things worked out. As a customer, it is really frustrating because I don't have time when something isn't working to have them "look into my issue" and get back with me. They have even closed a ticket I specifically told them to keep open. Your applications are only as good as the support.

Dropbox
Google Drive has similar features, but the security functions of Dropbox allows our institution to save our sensitive and regulated data in a more protected way on Dropbox. This gives administrators, decision makers and policy makers additional piece, especially during a time and living in a world where data breaches are much more frequent and common.

  • Dropbox allowed us to hold different version of our high resolution films to insert for competitions.
  • It allowed me as the director to visually see the timeline of the film and provide feedback on specific areas to the film with its features.
  • It is easy to access needed files and downloading them to our own computer. It has been easier rather than emailing the files back and forth.

  • Positively, it has increased productivity and efficiency in creating templates and being able to systemize some of the protocols we are working on putting into place.
  • It has been a positive as well as most individuals and companies that we associate with also use MicroSoft 365 and therefore there is no need to have formats change in our documents when they open them up using another type of program.
