Chose Druva Security Cloud
Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is more cost efficient and offers the same product applications.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
The ease of solution deployment and virtual proxy's configuration placed Druva Data Resiliency Cloud on top of compatible vendors. Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is also the only one of the three that offers 100% cloud protection, so it's the perfect fit for any team looking …
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Commvault was just as expensive, but not very intuitive. OneDrive was fine for basic backups but would have been difficult to implement firmwide in a robust solution that protected all of our production data. Neither product was a smooth end-user experience, and it was …
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Druva has a lot of advantages over Druva in terms of having a much better end user GUI, Veeam also did not really have an end user solution.
Druva also provides better bang for our buck in terms of the functionalities, 24/7 Support and the continuously updating roadmap. We are …
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Compared to Veeam, Druva was more feature rich, easier to integrate and much less complex.
Also, Druva GUI supports all kinds of workloads within the same GUI so you don't have to log into multiple portals, also the Support is 24/7 and the proof of concept was in-depth and useful.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Barracuda was quite difficult to manage in the long term because of their on-prem requirements, they would often send us damaged hardware which caused us a lot of backup issues for weeks in many cases. Thanks to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud offering, we don't have to worry about …
Chose Druva Security Cloud
The positive points in the previous responses are what tilted us in the direction of Druva.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Backup Exec and TeamViewer: We selected Druva for trust in our consulting advisor, the set of features, and also the pricing scenario.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Druva was not selected by me. However, I am happy it was selected.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
Druva was a more complete system when we evaluated it, and Code42 wasn't as intuitive for the users and management of end-users was not as simple.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
I have used the above products in a domestic context, and Druva stacks up against them well. We chose Druva because we can use both InSync and Phoenix. We really chose Druva to replace using Windows native offline files functionality, which is an unending nightmare of failure.
Chose Druva Security Cloud
I have been here for 4 years. Druva was in place when I got here and it will be here for a long time to come. We enjoy using it and haven't had any need to change to be honest. In short, I have not evalutated anything other than OneDrive. But we consider OneDrive as a …

We are a cloud-only shop, so Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is a natural fit. We do not have a large Azure VM presence, so I do not know how well they play in that space. If you are not cloud-focused, I am not sure that Druva Data Resiliency Cloud's strengths will be easily seen. However, in the cloud they are tough to beat.

Positive: The virtual workspace created for a work team within the same company, for the resemblance of information and communications in one place.Negative: The access for members of a non-profit organization who have external emails from the host but need the same access as an internal person since their volunteer work is part of the very core of the federation.

Pros
Druva
  • We like the option of downloading backed up files both individually and as a group.
  • The ransomware protection is a security feature that puts our minds at ease when it comes to the safety of our data.
  • The Customer Success team does frequent reach outs and technical health checks.

  • Virtual meetings - ease of set up and execution
  • File sharing! We build channels for projects, and being able to invite only project members is huge!
  • Peer-to-peer communications - being able to "ping" one of my colleagues, either text, video or call-only, on-demand, is what runs our business.

Cons
Druva
  • They have more ways to improve in Analytics section and UX.
  • I recommend to have to integrate with the cloud storages cheaper option to store backups which would be tremendous for customers to save snapshots costs.
  • Love to see Druva Data Resiliency Cloud have a better rbac policy on who can trigger the DR engine.

  • The feature of notifications in the mobile application could be improved. Sometimes notifications of different teams are not visible and are only visible when the application is opened.
  • It uses lots of computational resources while running and thus, slows down the system sometimes.
  • It allows a few channels per team. The number of channels could be increased for better productivity.

This is the second company I've brought to Druva. Just today, I was tasked with recovering a file from a user that last saw it 6 months ago. I was able to restore it in under 5 minutes of getting the request. It's really that easy.

Microsoft Teams is included with our Office 365 subscription and we have no intention of migrating off of Office 365 and Microsoft products. Since Microsoft Teams is included for free with our Office 365 subscription, and since we enjoy all the features, benefits, and functionality, there is no question that our team will continue to use the product

Usability
Druva
The product is easy to navigate and manage. Setup and configuration is also easy. We did not need to pay for any additional professional services. Our account team worked with use on the integration. It was not complex or difficult to learn how to setup and use. End users also have the ability to log in and manage their own files and emails

User experience has been much better than the previous Skype for Business app. It has an easy-to-use interface with persistent chats. The search feature is very fast and useful. MS Teams has mostly focused on Collaboration and team building features which are very useful for organizational communications. Since Teams is accessible from multiple platforms like Laptop, Desktop, Mobile phones, etc it has been very convenient from a Mobility perspective.

Page response in the admin center is acceptable- rarely are we waiting for data to load. Backup speeds seem fine, and restore speeds are OK considering it's likely pulling data from cold storage. It often takes 30-60 seconds for the restore to begin transferring files, but speeds are acceptable thereafter

Support Rating
Druva
We had an issue in my first year that took a long time to fix. The support guy was awesome, took screen shots, filled me in, was professional, but it just took so long. I do think that was an anomaly, but it certainly sticks out nonetheless. Beyond that, we've had pretty good support "relationships" with the reps. They're usually pretty prompt at getting back and quite knowledgeable. Just make sure you have your proxies updated, because that's always step 1!

Using Microsoft Teams has resulted in much faster business communications with both co-workers and consultants. There has been little need for support with this software as the interface is very intuitive and the product is overall very well designed. We did encounter an issue with the built-in phone service, however, this was quickly resolved by the support team.

Our company and IT department previously used Skype for our communication needs. Skype was not dependable in my opinion, because it seems each time I used it during a call and/or a meeting, I and several other team members would get disconnected more than once. This caused a great interruption of our meeting, caused team members to have to ask others to repeat themselves and caused a general lack of interest in employee attendance during meetings.

Honestly, this tool is worth every penny. Yes, it's not free and you pay for the quality of services and the license. But the ROI and the benefits are all there. Also, the renewal, negotiation, and contract terms are all very well explained by our Microsoft account manager, and she's a charm.

Scalability
Druva
We started very small with this product, only backing up key officers' laptops. After our initial experience, we found it very easy to scale up the product to all company laptops and expand into file servers, VMWare servers, and other production-level data, like Office 365 and Teams. We found the product very easy to scale while remaining intuitive and efficient to use.
