FinancialForce HCM gives HR admins the full Hire to Retire experience while also meeting the needs of the worker/end user. Additionally, the application is well suited for talent management, shift scheduling, electronic benefits transmissions and connecting to payroll providers. Integration of HCM with other FinancialForce offerings, such as PSA and Accounting, completes the connection of front to back office.

We have been with isolved for over 4 years. Our previous Payroll company of 15 years was purchased by isolved, it was very scary in the beginning, I won't sugar coat it. We have a multi-million dollar a year payroll and it is very complex. Seven companies, 235 employees and 18+ processed payrolls a month. My first payroll was put in a queue (no clue what that even meant). Several hours go by and I have submitted the other six, it's almost time to close and I had not received back the first pre-process. I didn't even know I had an anxiety level until this day, when you eat, drink and sleep thinking about your payroll. Calling every number we had been given I finally reached a team leader (who would become my life link). All I can say is from that day forward we had weekly conference calls to make sure we were taken care of and to take care of any of our concerns. I can honestly say I have one of the best CSRs the company has working for them. Hands down, this is a level 10 - 5-star rating. We are more than happy to give these #'s when they are earned.

  • The "back-end" is easy to use. You do not always need to contact support to tweak items.
  • Once a process flow is created, it is VERY user-friendly.
  • We can integrate other platforms such as Formstack into FF.

  • The system enables employees to access their own data and perform their own leave management and pay maintenance without risk.
  • The data analysis and reporting/data export functions are second to none. It allows access to and manipulation of fully relational employee records and information.

  • A way to email hiring managers and our IT department at the same time with a template would save us from so much email communication
  • Transfer all attached documents such as interview notes from iHired applicants to isolved employee documents would save us time uploading into multiple places

I believe Isolved has helped with allot of our previous payroll and HR issues but I am not the sole person responsible for making the decisions. If it were my responsibility to make the decision I would say yes, my input does weigh heavily on the choices but it's not guaranteed.

Payroll due dates and send to us at the beginning of the year, with email reminders for holidays. The support email address is fairly fast, within 24-48 hours. But if something is needed immediately, I can just call and they help me out right then.

We do not use the integration, so we have a csv file that I upload manually for payroll. That is our decision based on the software at our restaurants. Pages loaded fairly quickly, but reports to pdf lag about 15-20 seconds

Super supportive and courteous. The initial set up and integration process was great. They helped every step of the way. They are great to get a hold of by email or phone and will find a solution. I have never run into any issues that they couldn't resolve. They make it easy to add or change processes when needed.

We loved taking the course, we went through most of them before we went live and I believe that was very helpful. The online training helped us learn to navigate in the program. We still refer to the training and assign our managers and supervisors to it as well. I highly recommend using it. We have also been able to attend the Connect Conferences with are extremely valuable and we learn tips and tricks to help us better utilize our system.

The system was very cumbersome setting up as well as time consuming. There were times I just wanted to walk away and sometimes I did have to get up and walk away for a break and come back with a fresh perspective. The setup took me over a period of two to three months getting it to serve the purposes that we needed it two. I am very intuitive when it comes to computer software however getting all the right buttons checked in order for it to do what I needed didn't always work.

From a pricing perspective, FinancialForce HCM is very competitive in both licensing and implementation costs. Ultimately having an application that was native to Salesforce drove our final decision. While we were hoping to find an application that included the ability to process payroll internally we settled on the process of linking to a 3rd party vendor. The other options were either too pricey or lacked some of the key functionality we required.

iSolved is far superior to the other platforms mentioned, due to the fact that there is a dedicated customer service representative and the ease of use of the time & attendance and payroll systems as a whole. The HCM modules are great and easy to use. Reports generation is also much more extensive and customizable with iSolved than with the other payroll companies.

  • When we had Paycom, we had 1/4 of our staff that were not logging in and using the system. That number is down to maybe 5% now
  • Employees love having the ability to easily view and verify their timecards prior to payroll submission.
