Greenhouse is far better than the alternatives I have used in the past. It is sleeker, quicker, and has better functionality. With ADP it was very old and boring, but functional. iCIMS was good but lacked a lot of features and you had to pay for each of them. Taleo was older as …
iCIMS is VERY clunky compared to Greenhouse. I have heard good things about Lever. We demo'd with Lever and Jazz when we were selecting a new ATS and went with Greenhouse. I have heard Greenhouse is more expensive than others and some companies get priced out. When I recommend …
Greenhouse and JobDiva are similar - they're both easy to use and don't require a huge time commitment for the applicant. iCIMS is also easy for the candidate to apply. ADP requires a significant time commitment from the applicant, but, it has integration features that the …
Greenhouse is less matrixed than iCIMS but way more user-friendly and easier to track where a candidate is in the process. Greenhouse is more advanced and has a lot more capability than Workable. Workable is also user-friendly but does not have the same reporting capability or …

Interms of price point Greenhouse is placed very well. The pricing is reasonable and affordable compared to its competitors. iCIMS is a lot bigger ATS with higher pricing and lot of features. I would rate Greenhouse higher on ease of usage and pricing
Greenhouse has mastered the ATS tool and continuously improves features based on soliciting feedback from their customers. They do a great job at listening and adjusting based on the growing needs of their customers in the talent management space.
Greenhouse was slightly more expensive, but the recruiting team really liked the ability to capture a resume via phone/tablet while at recruiting events, integration into LinkedIn and other job boards (Glassdoor, Indeed, etc), ability to add notes and set reminders for …
I've used iCims and Salesforce Job Science and Greenhouse is better. Lowest barrier to entry. Better pricing.

iCIMs is better in terms of reporting and tracking data. They also have great built-in reports that you can use to track progress. However, Greenhouse excels in every other way: better user experience, integrates with calendar invites for interviews, tracks feedback for every …
iCIMS Talent Cloud is definitely more user friendly than most other platforms we have vetted or used. It is also more presentable and has more capabilities than most others. We appreciate the integration capabilities of linking our career portals within our own websites and …
iCIMS proved to be a more robust/mature tool that increased recruiter efficiency. Reporting was a big winner, the speed of pulling data and sharing it with peers, scheduling exports, etc.
Better technology. Reasonably priced. Great customer service. Continually updates to keep current. Strong partnerships with other vendors. Great add-on services.
We recently went through an RFP process and iCIMS was a finalist with Avature and Jobvite. iCIMS finished third in that RFP because of their high cost, challenging customer service, difficult reporting and their ability to work with us on customization of our site.
The iCIMS software is comparable to other larger ATS's out there today. We felt that iCIMS was there to meet the needs of our business. The price point was appropriate for us and the level of customer service support was enticing for us.
Well suited for Big organizations where recruitment is a daily task. Understanding of Greenhouse workings is simple and it is not difficult to train people who use it for first time. Greenhouse is less appropriate if you are looking for sharing offer letters or doing employee onboarding. Did not had a great experience in doing that
iCIMS Hire is a life saver for high volume hiring teams and it does so by providing excellent auditing trails. It forces a "paper trail" for every decision made, at all stages, making it much easier to pull reports and track movement. For me, it's essential to ensure we are not missing steps as a TA team and if we do, to ensure we address those gaps quickly. If you’re a team of 60 and only hire 5 people a year, this is not your tool. The implementation in my experience is robust and thorough, you won't get your ROI unless you're constantly hiring and expanding your talent pool.
The opt-out message after the 1st text helps weed out the people who are not interested.
Having the ability to have templates/answers to frequent questions saved and ready to use makes it easier/faster to talk to multiple people.
Being able to schedule text campaigns is amazing. Every Saturday I set up my campaigns for the next week. This gives me more time to focus on other things.
Greenhouse Security is simple, but not that granular. For example, everytime new recruiter joins, we have to give them access manually one by one. There is no one click or an easy way to auto assign security unlike other systems that we use such as Workday.
Greenhouse reporting is very lacking. Even though we are on the highest tier, we cannot extract data through this delivered feature. For example, scorecard custom questions. We have to do this through SQL.
Greenhouse Audit Log is also lacking. It is not useful at all. We cannot even see what job info changed and who changed it even though we are on the highest tier now.
We would highly likely renew iCIMS Hire because it consistently delivers strong value across our recruiting process. It streamlines workflows, improves collaboration between teams, and provides reliable reporting and insights. The system is scalable, user-friendly, and continues to evolve with new features, making it a dependable long-term solution for our hiring needs.
Greenhouse's user-friendly interface, efficient workflows, and integration capabilities with other HR tools make it a powerful tool for our company, helping us streamline our hiring and onboarding processes. With its customizable workflow and intuitive design, Greenhouse allows us to create a hiring process that suits their specific needs and requirements, without the need for extensive coding or technical expertise. Moreover, Greenhouse's integration capabilities with other HR tools enable us to centralise our hiring and onboarding data, making it easier to access and analyse applicant information, and reducing the risk of data loss or errors.
The platform is intuitive once configured and makes managing candidate pipelines, status updates, and communication straightforward. However, certain tasks—like custom reporting, bulk updates, and navigating between modules can feel a bit cumbersome and could benefit from a more modern interface. Overall, it’s reliable and effective for structured, high-volume recruiting environments like federal hiring.
There is always ample advance notice before the software goes down for maintenance and this is usually done at off-peak hours. As for system failures - I can't think of any that have effected us in over two years od use.
We can think of no dissatisfaction with our daily use of iCims, involving its response time to commands or incompatibility with any other software we presently use.
I have never needed to call Greenhouse for support. I am not the primary account holder, nor do I use Greenhouse enough to merit calling support. I delegate that responsibility to the Recruiting team. They have never mentioned any experience with Greenhouse technical support, either bad or good. I would assume that they would tell me if the support was poor.
Before pandemic and iCIMS Talent Cloud acquisitions I would give 10 without a doubt. Unfortunately, I see a strong decrease in the support model, which seems to be mainly connected with the fact that acquired companies/tools/features need to be integrated with the platform, and knowledge of newly provided services and tools were not yet incorporated fully into the support.
I would say I believe iCims online training is very good. It's informative, visually appealing, and simple in explaining all the different aspects of iCims. I also really like the new candidate onboarding, and all the other training curricula you have up to be able to inform or send out to the candidate. I like you can attach a URL link for videos as well so you can really customize the training. I feel that overall, I would like to see more. Perhaps, more robust options with the training, if that's something iCims is expanding on in the future.
Tools appears very light to use. It does not take forever to load. the interface is very simple but capable, unlike many ATS's. The tools is Simple yet loaded with very useful functionalities that save a lot of time and expedites the processes. For different stakeholders, the tools works accordingly.
Fully available automation, lesser bad data quality, more information is gathered at the time of applicant profile creation without having the need to ask for any follow ups or additional notifications. Integrates better with Oracle, Workday and SAP than other similar systems. Service tickets are resolved faster than other vendors we worked with.
iCims is currently pretty good and the best TAS for us at our stage of growth - but further improvement and enhancements will only help make it even better.
We implemented iCIMS Talent Cloud right before the pandemic. The pandemic created the most difficult recruitment environment ever. I cannot say that iCIMS Talent Cloud has helped us realize any advantageous success in this battle we are fighting. It gets the job done, but we have realized anything like filling jobs faster or having resources within iCIMS Talent Cloud to allow us to attract candidates differently. Status quo, I guess.
