I have been using it for the last four years and in most of the cases it worked amazingly. There is no scenario where it was less appropriate. I really like reporting and hot list features. It helps me to save a lot of time and effort. Moreover, there are such instances where my company needs to fetch the data of hires and it works amazingly well.

ZipRecruiter

ZipRecruiter is a great platform for entry/low-level positions as it's a very popular job board that can stretch to thousands of potential applicants. When it comes to more senior roles, because it's incredibly easy for anyone to apply, it's time-consuming and difficult to find a "needle in a haystack" for an open position

  • JobDiva has excellent integration with outside tools. For example it syncs with Outlook and Google Calendar. We also use a text messaging tool called TextUs and it is totally seamless and painless to set up.
  • JobDiva continuously adds new features to help our organization. Even small changes can make a world of difference! For example, it indicates for us when a candidate has "opened" one of our email merges! So we know when a candidate has read our email but has not replied or responded to our communications. It allows us to create Hotlists so we can build better pipelines of candidates.
  • Templates are also easy to create in JobDiva! We can customize messages and communications that we send out to candidates and workers.

  • They make the process of posting positions relatively easy. While there are plenty of details to help round out your job posting, the UI is simple and easy to use. Sharing to company social media is available as well.
  • Their dedicated account managers are extremely helpful and usually available to speak with you right away.
  • The pricing packages and flexibility of payment options make it an attractive option in this space.

  • Finding Junior Candidates. It becomes a tough task when we get the requisitions from client that are of lower level.
  • The JobDiva harvests resumes after 1-2 days they are uploaded on the job portal. I personally experienced it when I was using Careerbuilder simultaneously and saw a few candidates which appeared on the portal which came 1-2 days later into JobDiva's database.
  • There is no option to look for resumes at two different Zip Codes simultaneously. For example, if a job accepts candidates from local to two particular cities (in different states), there needs to be an option to enter the zip code of the respective cities.

  • Quality of candidates - one of the reasons we stopped using this platform is the lack of quality/qualified candidates. ZipRecruiter has an option where candidates can one-click on a type of job and their resume is posted to a variety of roles. These tools tend to make recruiters cringe, as resumes are splattered across job postings that aren't truly related to their skills. More filters for job applicants would be incredibly helpful, especially as the platform grows!
  • Price - for smaller businesses that don't hire hundreds of people, the price seemed a bit high. It just wasn't worth it for us.
  • Overall, just more ways to filter criteria and candidates. I struggled with finding filters based on location and/or if candidates were willing to relocate. We had candidates applying from all over that had no intention of relocating.

We are renewing it every time because it is our main source engine for resumes which we get requirements from clients. As it is also cheapest in price and excellent in providing multiple features at low cost we will renew this again and again. We will use this for a long time.

Its easy to use for me. but a few of my recruiters having difficulty using it. They have problems with mail merge, opting out from mail merge. They are also unable to find other options like applicants, doing some basic settings, sending mail merge again and again for the same job, avoiding sending emails to uninterested candidates etc.

Over all I think JobDiva works well. It has some issues from time to time, but the support staff seems to handle it quickly. The major issue is the email merges getting black listed as spam. That takes away a very important JobDiva feature. That is our major functionality complaint these days

I give it a 7 out of 10 because there is always room for improvement. I would not consider JobDiva to be the best ATS solution just yet. As I have mentioned, a lot can be improved in its functionality (Boolean), aesthetics, search results, and so on. This review comes from a person who has been using it as a first-hand recruiter. With advancement in its UI development, I look forward to an improved and more refined version of JobDiva soon.

Have not had to utilize support recently, but in past instances they have reached out within 12 hours to help rectify any problems or answer any questions about features and functionality. The only issue I ever had with them was trying to clarify, when they previously advertised that they posted on 200+ job boards, if that meant that your job would for sure be posted on each job board. Turns out, by the way, that they only guarantee distribution, not posting

Helps recruiters stay organized, work on multiple jobs at once, and keeps up with candidate and client activity very well. It is providing an excellent platform to search candidates that are well qualified for the job. It also provides suitable candidates who are looking for a job in a short duration of time. I wish I would have known that this organization is providing such an apt platform so that I could have searched [for] a lot more good candidates.

ZipRecruiter

ZipRecruiter is great to use for job postings and searching candidates. However, you cannot upload and manage candidates in the same way as Microsoft Dynamics or Workable. As job board access, it is effective, but as an ATS, it is not as useful. I would recommend using it in tandem with another software

  • Negative impact would come from it not being used by employees
  • When used it adds value in so many ways; time saving, money saving in that once information is pulled in or entered in - it does not have to be researched again - it is there for future
  • The old if someone gets hit by a bus scenario, JobDiva allows for the bus to keep going.

  • When we first started, and didn't have an ATS Zip was our go-to tool. It keeps all the resumes there attached to each job if you choose that option. When we switched to using our own ATS, it allows us to post the URL in the job posting. This saved us a ton of time in both regards.
  • The basic use of Zip is very affordable compared to other older job sites (CareerBuilder and Monster), and it posts to multiple sites in one click. Huge time saver.
