ZipRecruiter and Dice are better at finding "HOT" candidates where they are actively looking for a new position whereas Linkedin is more of a "catch all" method. There can be more "solicitation" regarding Linkedin, however it provides the advantage of being a great source of a …
LinkedIn Jobs provided access to applicants readily available & mostly white-collar, professional level. ZipRecruiter excels at a less experienced level of candidate, which is great for that need. CareerBuilder is not the go-to job board that it used to be & candidate flow …
LinkedIn has better integration with its existing social media platform, allowing for the recruiter to accurately view a client's history. Furthermore, it shows reviews and work done by the potential recruit. In contrast, ZipRecruiter does not show as much insight into a client …
I use LinkedIn for ease of use, and the convenience to easily connect with potential candidates. I also used it to search for potentially qualified candidates that are within my network. I Love that people can share the job posting on LinkedIn and by posting a job you also help …
ZipRecruiter is a good comparison, it is software that is really trained and offers very good features for effective hiring, however, one of the reasons why we chose LinkedIn Jobs is because it allows us to track and save requests of the candidates to be able to review them in …
ZipRecruiter was one of the first platforms that we implemented in our company. I was directly in charge of the implementation of ZipRecruiter, however, I did not like the use of this platform in my company. The main difference between both platforms is that LinkedIn Jobs …
Although ZipRecruiter can provide some great candidates depending on the job listing and day, we also get a lot of applications there that are completely off the mark. I find that I receive more unqualified candidates and out-of-country candidates on ZipRecruiter.
Indeed seems to have a farther reach than the other products. With that, I receive ALOT of unqualified applicants. You do have to sort through quite a few applications to get to the right fit. LinkedIn Jobs, on the other hand, does not deliver nearly as many candidates, but the …
ZipRecruiter is cheaper than CareerBuilder but more expensive than Indeed.com and LinkedIn Jobs. I only use the free feature of Indeed since Indeed.com's pay per click model did not work for our company and was the most expensive option. I feel that out of all 4, LinkedIn is …
I don't think ZipRecruiter really stacks up all that well compared to LinkedIn Jobs or Indeed. However, one of my clients really likes ZipRecruiter so, I use ZipRecruiter haha.
ZipRecruiter is the poorest of these other tools in my experience. I chose ZipRecruiter to add more recruiting sources because there tend to be a lot of candidates that come through. However, the product is less effective and efficient to use than other products from an …
LinkedIn and Indeed.com have free options which I think helps them considerably. We are able to see many more applicants on Indeed.com because of the option for a free job posting. LinkedIn doesn't offer much and we have not seen anything positive from its use.
I know it's strange for me to say that Reddit stacks up against ZipRecruiter. I feel this way because reddit offers a more relaxed and simple atmosphere. People simply talk and socialize. There's no pressure to be professional, so talking to a bigger bulk of people in a shorter …
I selected ZipRecruiter because its as competent as the others. Its a great platform for seeking jobs and hiring. It’s user friendly interface makes it easier to use. And it provides good built in features on the web as well as mobile app
ZipRecruiter is inferior when it comes to comparing it to Indeed. I use both because I want more platforms to advertise my job. However, I find myself obtaining more applicants from Indeed over ZipRecruiter. I don't count ZipRecruiter out, though, because every once in a while, …
ZipRecruiter aggregates Posting from the above sites and more. Very Positive.

ZipRecruiter beats out both Indeed and LinkedIn for executive level hires although its cost and talent pool (high quality talent) make it impractical for lower tiered hires, where we prefer to use Indeed. For the price, ZipRecruiter has had a much higher ROI for us than LinkedIn.
Robust cloud database with updated profile as opposed to the rest which has a model that works just as a job board, you will save a lot of time targeting ideal talent. Also, ZipRecruiter is easy to set up with a very easy user interface, and their customer care & support team …
These other recruitment companies didn’t offer the same level of involvement and resources as ZipRecruiter. The ZR portal and support services were on another level. With similar pricing ZR was by far the better investment opportunity for our organization. We did try these …
I have experience with all the major job posting sites (ie. Monster, Indeed, ZipRecruiter), and each site has its pros and cons! Small companies are worried about the cost of each site; Indeed is cheaper from my experience. Indeed has tons of internal resources and can help you …
ZipRecruiter is by far the easiest platform to use for posting, and better still is that the qualified candidates we see so early on help us run our business without the worries that usually come with other hiring platforms. At the end of the day, time truly is money, and we …
I can't think of any reason why anybody looking for a job opportunity would not be involved with LinkedIn Jobs. It's one of the more active social media job sites and if you are active on LinkedIn (which you should be) you have a great opportunity to show your achievements and talent to job posters. The "Easy Apply" link, although great for companies hiring large groups of people may not be for somebody who is looking for a specialized role as that would take a more personal approach.
Its geo targeting and search features made it easy to source people from specific sites and places, also it post the jobs to various platforms at the same time. AI should be more advanced so that we can get some high position profiles because it does not work as good on the high end roles as compared to the low end roles.
The job offers board is one of the things that stands out most positively on LinkedIn Jobs, since I can know all the job offers that are open for all sectors of my company and I can also see the candidates that are in each offer of employment.
Interview scheduling is one of the best features of LinkedIn Jobs. It allows you to schedule exact time and exact day for face-to-face meetings in order to carry out a more consolidated interview, in addition, it sends notifications to the candidate so that they can appear for the interview at the right time.
I can have access to the CV of each candidate. LinkedIn Jobs offers me a very detailed CV of each of the candidates and this allows me to quickly know the qualities that each candidate has.
I can handle job applications much better. It was a very tedious job when we did this manually and we did a lot of paperwork to organize the received requests. LinkedIn Jobs has made that manual work is avoided, thanks to the automated system to organize the requests.
TSP Restaurant Manager in Chapel Hill, TN currently on ZipRecruiter since yesterday (9/26) and already have an inbox filled with qualified applicants.
ZipRecruiter has easy access to chat or email with admins if I encounter an issue, and it is quickly resolved, the only time I did have an issue, the response was pretty much immediate.
ZipRecruiter is attractive to both the job poster and the job seeker. Easy to navigate.
We have found to get the reach that we want, LinkedIn Jobs has been an expensive endeavor. The free postings do not get very far on LinkedIn Jobs.
For Large scale hired, LinkedIn Jobs is not beneficial at all. It does not do a good job at keeping a large influx of candidates coming through.
Some of the candidates end up being in other locations and therefore some have been unwilling to relocate or to fulfill job descriptions. In some ways, the wide reach works to a disadvantage when reaching candidates that do not even realize where the position is located. LinkedIn Jobs needs to do a better job with location based searches.
The only thing I can think of is, I don't prefer the unecessary emails I get from ZipRecruiter that don't pertain to my business, or what we use ZipRecruiter for.
I can't think of anything else that needs to be better
I can't think of anything else that needs to be better
Results. The bottom line is the results we are getting. We are seeing not only quality applications, but quality hires that can directly be tied to our use of ZipRecruiter. The ROI is second to none - a simple and easy to use tool that is driving healthcare professionals to my various clients.
Overall the LinkedIn Jobs are very very useful product for job seeking candidates, posting their requirements, posting the advertisement, communicating the job looking candidates and finding the good companies job vacancies so mostly the LinkedIn Jobs are very genuine useful for employees. It used for our knowledge, company growth and carrier improvement also.
ZipRecruiter is very user-friendly and is extremely reliable when searching for new talent. There are numerous features to help you when you have questions about a posting or your profile. The filtering process is awesome and you have so many ways to find the right talent with the screening questions provided by ZipRecruiter.
There are many complaints that there is no way to contact their support. There is no phone number, nor chat and people aren't receiving responses on social media. I have used "Feedback" to report on the job description page the flaw in incorrect locations.
Have not had to utilize support recently, but in past instances they have reached out within 12 hours to help rectify any problems or answer any questions about features and functionality. The only issue I ever had with them was trying to clarify, when they previously advertised that they posted on 200+ job boards, if that meant that your job would for sure be posted on each job board. Turns out, by the way, that they only guarantee distribution, not posting
LinkedIn has better integration with its existing social media platform, allowing for the recruiter to accurately view a client's history. Furthermore, it shows reviews and work done by the potential recruit. In contrast, ZipRecruiter does not show as much insight into a client which can lead to time wasted with phone calls and other communication.
ZipRecruiter is inferior when it comes to comparing it to Indeed. I use both because I want more platforms to advertise my job. However, I find myself obtaining more applicants from Indeed over ZipRecruiter. I don't count ZipRecruiter out, though, because every once in a while, you can find a gem in a haystack.
ZipRecruiter helped us to reaching our hiring goals for 2018. We have been able to source, exempt and non-exempt candidates, in a timely fashion for our roles in the NY Metro area.
From a cost perspective, ZipRecruiter is more affordable than others that we have used in the past. In the end the results speak for themselves and we have had better success with Zip than other job boards we have used in the past.
