These platforms have feature sets that are much better suited to B2B marketing than Intuit Mailchimp. In particular, the journey builders seem much better suited to long and complex business-to-business buying cycles like ours.
When we switched long time ago from Constant Contact it was because Mailchimp demonstrated more innovative features to be adapted in our communications. At that time Constant Contact it was too limited and it was constructed mainly to send bulk emails. So when we saw what …
In some cases, Intuit Mailchimp is more user-friendly than some of these platforms. However, Intuit Mailchimp has been the most consistent. For example, some of these brands were acquired by larger companies and drastically changed their pricing models and offerings without …
I used Intuit Mailchimp, and I would say other software I used is equally good and competes with Intuit Mailchimp. Well, Intuit Mailchimp's reporting is better, and ActiveCampaign has more affordable pricing, so in the end, it all comes to what you need. What we needed was …
Intuit Mailchimp is more affordable, scalable for all team sizes, has a shorter SMS registration approval timeframe, integrates with more platforms, and doesn't require training to get started.
Mailchimp's email marketing is vastly superior to Bloomerang CRM or Fundraising (formerly Qgiv) but Mailchimp will integrate seemlessly to Bloomerang, so every email sent to a constituent will be recorded as a transaction. The email design blocks are much cleaner and easier to …
We went back to Flodesk due to their services being much more cost effective. We send emails to tens of thousands of people at a time, and we only pay $35/month for Flodesk
We ended up going with Intuit Mailchimp because of the templates and the pricing. While we didn’t actually use Constant Contact, just looking through it, Intuit Mailchimp seems much easier to use as well.
My business was not allowed on other SMS services. The ridiculous rules the others have to deal with make it difficult to send anything for tactical training. It is used by many other businesses I know, so it seemed trustworthy. I don't like using services I have never heard of.
Meta Business Suite is a good paid media option that offers several features for building ad campaigns, which other paid media channels lack. The usability is generally good, but it probably isn't quite as intuitive as Google, as a comparison. LinkedIn is behind all of these …
In my opinion the Google products give me a better result that I am looking for - which is what - but more of my customers need to be reached on the Meta Business Suite platforms, and that is where I need to be. We have to be where our customers are, not just the feedback that …
Meta Business Suite is super easy, and it's also free compared to Hootsuite. Hootsuite, in comparison, can manage a wider variety of platforms, but Meta crushes it for any of its native platforms that you add to the account. If you have Instagram or Facebook, you must have Meta …
I think Meta Business Suite is a great option especially for a smaller non-profit business like ours. I like that on a base level it is much more cost effective, whereas a platform like Hootsuite and SocialPilot cost a high monthly fee. I do with Meta Business Suite would …
In my opinion, all three platforms are much better - with the exception of their customer service (excluding HubSpot) - I think LinkedIn and Google are just as poor in this area.
Hootsuite is effective for scheduling posts across multiple social media feeds. Hootsuite offers Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and Google Business Profile integration, and you can use Google Analytics with it, but it no longer offers a free plan. W…
The backend platform of Meta Business Suite is a little more confusing and less configueable than other platforms. There is a little less intuitive navigation and certain tools are buried deep/nested in places that are not straightforward. Effective and efficient customer …
Compared to the other tools listed above, Meta Business Suite has good navigation, great interest audience-building tools, okay ad analytics, a great messaging system, and below-average customer support. We chose Meta Business Suite for its massive user base and for its …
I believe since YouTube started with shorts, TikTok with their incentives for small businesses, and also Snapchat with their incentives for small businesses, it was time for Facebook/Meta to step up to the plate. Around late 2020/early 2021, Facebook/Meta offered small-business …
Facebook stacks up against them in terms of its service. I choose Facebook for Business since I use it for business for almost more than a year now and I need to say this it is the most best possible business tool definitely a must-have for all the businesses type.
Facebook for Business is free and linked in premium is a paid version for linked in. If you’re a startup Facebook is an excellent starting point. If you rely on networking or followers this one does an excellent job. Facebook integrates personal and business accounts so you’re …
I believe that Twitter Ads and Facebook for Business fill a very similar marketing space. Most of the users are browsing for recreational reasons and advertisements are mostly seen as an annoyance. It's very crucial to provide an add that is not just relevant to the user, but …
Facebook for Business has the best self-serve interface. It copied the capabilities and structure of Google and then surpassed it. They are the pioneers in the industry and the first to become compliant with iOS14.5, CCPA, GDPR and any other new regulations. We've found it hard …
Facebook for Business offers its unique platform, user reach, targeting and interest classifications that most other platforms fail to offer. It's ads management, with analytics, insights, etc. makes it offer three-sixty degree solutions, such as being a one-stop-shop for …
I have used HubSpot for creating forms to acquire leads. Now that Facebook lets me create forms right in their new Lead Ads, I can not only capture data, but I can also capture the leads' information. Currently that is the only tool that I have used or considered as an …
While we have tried to utilize other platforms for managing social media in the past, we have found that managing each social channel in its own platform is especially helpful. We want the content to be unique and it helps ensure that. You are generally presented with more …
We have a listing on Google Business where people can find us easily online, but Facebook makes it so much easier to interact directly with customers. Google Business is invaluable for one-off internet searches where people are looking either for us or for what we offer, but …
Echobox is very similar to Facebook for Business in that you can switch between Facebook pages and reschedule and edit posts. It’s a better form of Business, as we can quickly edit posts’ captions and images without having to wait 10 minutes to put them out, and we can tweak …
Disaster save your money there are other options out there. We were never able to get off the ground. Due to them being so unflexible, we did not implement anything.
Springbot's account management team is excellent to work with - they understand my business and my goals, and partner with me to achieve on those growth goals - from traffic, to subscribers and revenue.
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as …
We are looking at using Tealium to segment our customers now, something we had hoped Springbot would allow us to do. Tealium allows us to segment and send to any channel and any ESP. Springbot would allow us to create segments based on a few demographic, product and purchase …
It allows you to reach out to our customer base and discuss updates, sales, education, and much more. I am grateful to have reached out to them and to have gained brand loyalty in the process. It helps us truly connect, not just sell. I can segment my audiences and decide who I want to send communications to.
Meta Business Suite is great if you are a business that is heavily reliant on paid media performance. It is also a great platform if we are looking to scale paid performance and look to send partnership ads live with existent creators and influencers we are working with.
If you have a small marketing team with a small budget and you use Mailchimp & Adroll, Springbot might work for you. Otherwise, there are other more robust tools out there to accomplish the same goals. They need to work on more integrations with other ESPs and retargeting providers. And they need to work on making sure the data being sent to their customers is accurate.
Mailchimp allows you to manage your mailing list really well. You can subscribe people, unsubscribe people manage the mailing list directly into segments, and what not.
Mailchimp has features where you can create campaigns based on your mailing lists and send out newsletters to your subscribers based on a multitude of parameters that you can setup. Such as send email daily, weekly, monthly and they also have event based mails that you can send out.
Mailchimp also has a feature where you can design your emails. The look and aesthetics are very important when sending emails to your subscribers and all those needs are addressed here.
Allows you to upload current email lists and drive ads to them more passively than email.
Audience segmentation tools make it easy to target prospects based on actions taken on specific pages.
Lookalike tools allow you to build new prospect lists based on common interests of your current clients.
The ability to test multiple variations of ads against each other and report on them directly from the dashboard simplifies the decision-making process to optimize advertising efforts.
One of the things that impressed me the most early on was their dedication to email deliverability and growing my "engaged" list of customers. Through this, they taught me the value of quality subscribers vs. quantity of subscribers, while still sharing new ways to grow my email list in a healthy and sustainable manner. For so long, my main focus was always having the biggest email list - and while that's good to have a lot of subscribers, the most important thing is to make sure they are ENGAGED with your brand. So together we've come up with fun ways to do that, and we've seen that reflected in our list growth and open rate.
One of the other things I was looking to do when I partnered with Springbot was to increase my site traffic. The original sales rep had a few recommendations on how we could do this, and our team was most excited about their Facebook Services offering. We were paired with a Facebook expert who did a discovery call with us, and then presented a strategic plan for us to follow for the first 90 days, until we could fully optimize. Their Facebook team narrowed down my target audience and has helped strategically grow my site traffic.
Finally, and maybe the part that I value the most, is the partnership that I've developed with Springbot. Out of the gate, there is absolutely work to do to get things set up and they don't sugar coat that. While much of the onboarding was smooth - we had a few obstacles to work through, and I'm thankful my Success Manager kept me up to date as we resolved anything that came up, and was proactive with her outreach and recommendations to get the most out of the platform. I find myself learning something new each time I chat with her, whether it be optimizations to my automations, new marketing ideas, or ways to increase engagement as I go into the holidays.
After being with them for a year, I feel this is more than a vendor + customer relationship, and think of it as a strategic and valuable partnership.
Reporting, especially as you drill down. For example, it won't show you purchases by region or hour of the day.
Consistency has been an issue. Top-performing campaigns/ad sets/ads will hit a wall overnight for no apparent reason.
Cloning ads doesn't work between certain campaign types. It seems like they could make it so that even a partial copy can be made, with other required fields left empty.
We love the product. One thing we haven't mentioned yet is the human element. Recently, MailChimp re-structured their plans/pricing based on the feedback they had received. They listened to a pain their users were experiencing, then strategized a solution, and implemented it fairly. The updated pricing strategy was intended to save subscribers money, and they did a great job of communicating it to their users. I would be surprised if anyone reacted negatively to the change.
We have to continue using this tool in order to be effective on this marketing platform. Though there are several changes I wish we could see, the fact is that we will still need to use this product to provide customers with the information they need.
It's very easy to use - I could quickly explain how to use Mailchimp to someone not in marketing and feel confident they'd be able to use basic skills to figure it out. Plus, we use it beyond just email marketing now for subscriber welcomes, forms, and nurture sequences.
UI is complex for beginners, keeps on changing too, navigate is difficult sometimes. It requires additional tools to manage LinkedIn, twitter accounts. Customer support can be improved, some urgent issues can't wait for 24 hrs, bidding can made more transparent, some we spend too much and doesn't get desired results hrs.
I think Springbot is pretty user-friendly overall. The only down-side is that the website is often updated, leaving the customer to hunt certain features down that are now in a different spot. So I think it would be helpful if every so often they sent an email that let customers know what changes were made and where to access everything
I have, in the 4+ years that I've used Mailchimp, never seen an issue that restricted the use of their software/tools. I don't know of a single time when they're system crashed or went down. I could be wrong, but I honestly haven't experienced any issues with outages, errors or unplanned downtime
I've only dealt with the API having issues a couple times, but as you can imagine an outage is not something an advertiser would find acceptable, especially during any ecommerce-heavy time of year. The overall platform could use some help with availability when it comes to authentication, as it struggles with consistency in authentication.
I haven't noticed any slow speeds from Mailchimp or their tools. I think the landing pages load quickly and look nice. The email reports and editing operates smoothly and doesn't take time to load. Additionally, when I use Mailchimp in conjunction with Zapier + Hubspot I don't notice any drag between any of these tools
There are a lot of shortcomings when it comes to performance. There are pages that I do not expect to have much information to load on the page, yet it takes an incredibly long time (10+ secondes). I have not had experience with the integration slowing other platforms down too much.
Any time we needed their help or support they responded promptly, friendly, and straightforwardly. It's a great feature to have multi-language support as we are a diverse team, and anyone can reach out to receive help. We've always solved our inquires
I've found the Facebook for Business support to be hit or miss. For billing questions they're timely and helpful. For complex questions about specific services I've often received a longer wait and a less helpful experience. I'm often redirected to their docs, which are often not particularly helpful.
They only cared about referencing the user agreement to get out of any common sense discussion I tried to have. They have one goal take your money and don't care if the system is working for you or not.
I am little satisfied with the MailChimp implementation process, since although it has been a bit complicated and we have had various complications that tried to affect our performance, with a little general effort, we take full advantage and currently It is out main marketing and advertising campaign platform.
If you don't want to display your feed to your boss before going over scheduled posts for the week, use the Business site and it will be less awkward instantly. Having someone lean over your shoulder is always a bit awkward, you think about how you smell, maybe consider offering them gum because they have bad breath
I used Intuit Mailchimp, and I would say other software I used is equally good and competes with Intuit Mailchimp. Well, Intuit Mailchimp's reporting is better, and ActiveCampaign has more affordable pricing, so in the end, it all comes to what you need. What we needed was available in cheaper price in other software as well. But I would definitely say Intuit Mailchimp has its own advantages too.
Meta Business Suite is a good paid media option that offers several features for building ad campaigns, which other paid media channels lack. The usability is generally good, but it probably isn't quite as intuitive as Google, as a comparison. LinkedIn is behind all of these platforms, as its ad features are not as advanced. Overall, Meta is highly ranked.
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as they offered a wide variety of insights and had wonderful customer service.
Mailchimp over the years I've used it has grown in leaps and bounds. They have added so many additional features than were previously available. They are truly an all-in-one marketing platform now. If you're a small operation and just want to add email to your marketing efforts, they're there for you. If you're a larger operation and want to start sending postcard advertisements, they can do that. If you'd good with that and want to kick up your marketing by going social, you can do that on their platform. They are truly able to be as small as you need, but also get quite large in whatever it is you'd like to do through their system.
This product is definitely able to run at scale, but it would be wise to have enough eyeballs to oversee it and the tools for keeping the campaigns, adsets, and ads organized could use some improvement. I can also see the UI interfering with usability at greater amounts of scale.
One of my retail web store clients was sending out email specials and notices about once a month. After clicking the send button, we would watch Google Analytics and the current site users would light up immediately. Often, the current site visitors would pop up to 20, 30 or more after the email was sent. On a normal day, seeing 1 or 2 online users would be OK.
Pretty much in all cases, we could see an uptick in positive activity after sending out a Intuit Mailchimp email to a list.
Definitely has a positive ROI with increasing sales, but beware because it's not easy to measure on every stage of the funnel (how much does an ad in the very top of the funnel should be accounted for on a sale?). Attribution is hard sometimes.
Managing is expensive and time-consuming. So far we haven't been able to find any solution to automate this. We are using automatic rules but you still need to be on top of things (considering how much budget we are spending on this).
Beware on Facebook suspending your account. As I said before, the suspension was completely unjustified (they ended up activating it again) but don't over-rely on this platform because they just don't care if you spend your money there or elsewhere. They just don't give a damn about the customer (you).
