Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Using this Microsoft platform is the similarity of the structure and appearance of the software and their integration and easy integration with each other, which makes the work easier for users and employees of the company.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Dynamics AX is one of the most advanced ERPs out there. When your business needs grow, many other smaller ERPs struggle to cover them.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Microsoft D365 FO stands out amongst the competitors with its strong backing on the Microsoft Azure cloud and the life cycle services is the best I’ve seen. There is a ways to go in making it low/no code and mobile is there but not great. Overall an ok product as ERP is a …
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Cost and local regional compliance were primary factors in chosing Microsoft Dynamics AX over SAP Access Control for our need. SAP AC would have provided easier integration into our primary ERP system SAP but there were some regional compliance with ASEAN countries as well as …
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
I found a smaller cost in AX and higher flexibility in process definition and in features customization
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
I was not part of the decision making process to select Microsoft Dynamics AX, however, I do know that an exhaustive search was done and many options were considered alongside Microsoft Dynamics AX and I feel that the right decision was made in choosing this solution.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)

Microsoft Dynamics AX is more user friendly compared to our old ERP system.

With the growth of the company, the old way to generate from the old ERP system is too slow and not competent enough.

We need to get the data as fast as possible.

Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Not as user-friendly and takes more time to input invoices but gets slightly faster as you get used to their quirks.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
In all cases Dynamics proved to be a more affordable overall investment compared to Oracle and SAP as well as a less complicated implementation.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)

SAP--there is no way to compare these as SAP is large and complicated as it is not a single integrated system - but many system underneath the GUI / Cover of SAP. No process flexibility that is so needed in our competitive world where global competition requires change at a …

Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Customization capabilities are far more beneficial than a rigid product like SAP.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Oracle business suite 11i. DAX is simpler and easier to install and customize.
Chose Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)
Oracle. Cost and mitigation of single platform risk, as we also use Oracle for Finance, Order Mgt, etc.
NetSuite ERP
Chose NetSuite ERP
NetSuite was way easier to understand and implement. The cost was close to the same across all of the systems we considered, but we also had internal employees that have used NetSuite before and loved it. That helped push us in the direction of NetSuite and we have been …
Chose NetSuite ERP
Much better ERP overall in most areas compare to Microsoft Dynamics GP. Better reporting, better audit trails and etc
Chose NetSuite ERP
Oracle NetSuite ERP is lightyears ahead with the sophistication and accuracy of their ERP. There are so many more options for inventory management, accounting, and more. We felt that NetSuite ERP provided us with the most growth opportunity and would be able to keep up with …
Chose NetSuite ERP
NetSuite Bundled many features into the core system.
We reviewed Plex Manufacturing as well. That was not an option to list, but it was a manufacturing software at the core, but required lot/serial.

Chose NetSuite ERP
I had used NetSuite in a previous company and was there during implementation. While working there I enjoyed using NetSuite and never came across a situation that it couldn't handle. When I moved to a new company and was tasked with implementing an ERP system, there was no …
Chose NetSuite ERP
I think NetSuite ERP stacks up in the middle against most of the above companies, Microsoft Dynamics 365 might offer the best bang for your buck but lacks in experience. Shopify is great as a front end platform buck lacks the overall structure that NetSuite offers. Salesforce …
Chose NetSuite ERP
Acumatica is newer to me in my 18+ years of experience, but from what I have seen and experienced I would recommend changing to Acumatica if NetSuite ERP ever became an issue with price or usability.
Chose NetSuite ERP
I have also used Fiserv, but NetSuite is far superior in ease of use and navigation. I personally feel like it is far superior in design and overall look of the interface as well. The customization in NetSuite makes it a top contender for these types of products.
Chose NetSuite ERP
In my prior positions, I used several Sage and QuickBooks products, and NetSuite is head and tail above them. If you are an accountant, you really get what you pay for. You can build a lot of control around users and locking periods, plus you have the flexibility to easily …
Chose NetSuite ERP

Chose NetSuite ERP
NetSuite is the best ERP hands down
Chose NetSuite ERP
NetSuite by far is the most expensive; However, compared to the 3 systems notated, the overall functionality, capability and reporting advantages make it my top choice for companies experiencing exponential growth across all departments. Its a best in class solution for just …
Chose NetSuite ERP
There comes a point where companies outgrow QuickBooks due to the lack of dimensions, limited reporting, data integrity on prior periods, controls over user access and manipulation levels. However, Oracle and SAP type solutions are likely in the millions of dollars to acquire …
Chose NetSuite ERP
First, it runs in the cloud, meaning we don't have to host anything; we also don't need to apply manual updates for every single computer. I remember the headache of updating Sage on the server and, if successful, then on each one of the +-20 computers. Now, NetSuite ERP send …
Chose NetSuite ERP
We looked at SAP Business One, which is quite strong in financials and manufacturing, but we found it a bit rigid and more suitable for traditional industries rather than service and education-based organizations like ours. We also considered Microsoft Dynamics 365, which had …
Chose NetSuite ERP
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle E-Business Suite
Chose NetSuite ERP
Netsuite offers as much, if not more, than the competitors. The price modules can vary, and I find NetSuite's less transparent. However, we chose Netsuite for the investments they were making and the SCA web integration to ERP, not many have that function. The NetSuite/Oracle …
Chose NetSuite ERP
Advanced features that Netsuite had. Easy integration with other financial and CRM systems. Implementation and governance can be easy handled. Easy to maintain and support. Handles very high volume of data. More new features are in pipeline. As it is used across many company …
Chose NetSuite ERP
QuickBooks Online is, by far, a better and easier-to-use product for smaller companies. Only switch to Netsuite if you have to. We switched to NetSuite because we have numerous subsidiaries, and QuickBooks would not be able to handle the complexity.
Chose NetSuite ERP
NetSuite ERP is superior to Sage 100 in that it provides better reporting flexibility and a self run elimination ledger in the accounting close process. We went with NetSuite ERP for their affordability and flexibility providing more "bang for the buck."
Chose NetSuite ERP
As our company grows, we determined that we needed something that goes deeper than Quickbooks, has more customization options for various functions, and allows us to have visibility across the entire company. While Quickbooks was definitely a bit more intuitive in terms of …

Toast overall was a very impressive system. However being new to Canada I was hesitant to sign.

Clover worked well with payment processing but was not a great system for sales and service.

Chose TouchBistro

Chose TouchBistro
Touch Bistro is so simple to set up and use.Very user friendly and very easy to reach to any employee. Aloha was more complicated for served, kitchen staff and managers.
Chose TouchBistro
Toast does their own credit card processing in house, so we didn't have to deal with a third party. It streamlined things for us and gave us access to options that we didn't have with TouchBistro as a quick service Taproom. Again, both are great, it truly comes down to your …
Chose TouchBistro
TouchBistro beat them all with its intuitive interface, ease of use, and economical costs.
Chose TouchBistro
For the price and beginning incentives. Also, for the customer service included.
Chose TouchBistro
We have not used other products, but when researching other products, the TouchBistro interface seemed much more user-friendly and that is why we selected TouchBistro.

Microsoft Dynamics AX (discontinued)NetSuite ERPTouchBistro
Likelihood to Recommend
It integrates fully with the other Microsoft software we use daily, and this coordination speeds up our work and gives us the agility to run easily. For example, in a purchase inquiry, the customer, after submitting a request, identifies the teams that should work on the project, and if they need further review by other people, they are added to the process, and everything is managed seamlessly rather than the sales process. Get the result as fast as possible.

It is suited well for its scalability and offerings of options as you need them. Auditing Where lesser ERPs require multiple 3rd party connections to get certain functionality, NetSuite ERP offers it as part of the core already or as an advanced feature you can opt into. It is still a part of the NetSuite environment and managed by NetSuite.

For a small business like ours, it works very well, is very user friendly, but the cost to add more tablets so that we can keep one at the bar, one on the interior dining area and one on the outside dining area is difficult as they have to be iPads, and there is an additional cost to add another tablet for use on the floor

Pros
  • Pricing: Microsoft Dynamics AX gives us good flexibility in how we price our products.
  • UX: Microsoft Dynamics AX has a good user interface to put valuable information on the screen for users.
  • Inventory Management: Microsoft Dynamics AX does a great job at giving us insight into our inventory.

  • Very fast transaction times; I do not need to wait for the credit slip printer to respond, it is almost instantaneous.
  • I can add, delete, or modify menu items on the fly and in real time in literally a handful of seconds.
  • TouchBistro provides an intuitive and easy way to check my tasting room’s metrics in real time from anywhere on the globe.
  • My employees are able to access a customized menu of item modifiers and discounts very quickly and easily.

Cons
  • Sales Ledger. Currently, the idea behind the sales ledger module is that the company prepares a sales order for another company. I would prefer the developers consider the scenario where a sales order is prepared for the same company but for another branch or unit.
  • Postings of issues items are currently possible but none of the modules caters to "departmental material or item request". Further tweaks have been done on our Project Module to cater for this but it's not entirely perfect. This will enable aid in cost allocation per departmental request of materials or items.
  • Challenges with the bank module - does not allow for easily reconciliation as the statement from the banks can not be uploaded except for specific format.

  • I have found it to be a bit slow sometimes when saving.
  • I am not sure if this is Chase Bank or NetSuite, but a direct link to upload bank transactions or credit card transactions would be nice.
  • This is too hard, bc Netsuite works really well.

  • Online ordering can not be added on to once the customer arrives, can’t edit or change anything once placed
  • Slow speed to place next order, and syncing with debit machines
  • Frustrating that screen needs to be closed until payment goes through, hard in a very busy restaurant
  • New updates always cause glitches in the system. The last update I now have drinks printing to my kitchen that never did before.
  • Admin and servers not being able to do printouts
  • Discounts not displaying on day printouts

Microsoft Dynamics continues to evolve by bringing more functionality to the customer. Also there are several independent software providers that offer a wide range of solutions for vertical markets.

I am not the decision maker for this but I believe our company will be sticking with NetSuite for the long term. A CRM like this is a big investment and not something you move away from quickly and without a lot of planning. There is a lot of data involved and importing that into a new system is no easy task.

Usability
Overall the product does what we need it to do in order for us to function as a company. While there are some concerns over ongoing costs, the belief is, once we have it fully acclimated to our business the cost should settle into alignment with our original expectations. The new features that are consistently being added do add value to the product as they are usually customer request directed.

NetSuite is a cloud tool, and is easy to implement for mid-sized organizations. It comes with standard forms/ printing layouts, and financial reporting (both summary and detailed), which are very handy for business users. In addition to these, with 99.99% service availability, NetSuite makes it one of the most reliable ERP tools available on the market.

It's an incredibly easy system to navigate both from a management perspective as well as a service member perspective.Training, programming items and inventory, day to day sales, processing payments, gathering reports and data, gift card sales and processing (with the exception of online for us) is easy and seamless.

Most of the time the performance is very good. Pages load in a few seconds; financial reports take less than 5 seconds; basic searches take a few seconds. But performance can be sporadic throughout the day and cause the run time to triple.

We use a 3rd-party Microsoft Partner for the system. They are responsive and very knowledgeable. While costs have been mentioned several times in this review they are very aware of costs and have developers who are more economical they use to help offset the level of work required to meet our changes and fix our issues.

I would like to give 8 rating for NetSuite support and reason for that is below: Whenever we faced any technical or functional issues we tried to reach out to NEtSuite support but response was not immediate. We told them about the urgency of the issue but still we were not getting response on time. Then, we have to reach out to AE to get things resolved.

Implementation Rating
Some rough spots, but ultimately worked out. The contract didn't appear to be structured to support the level of overlapping facility deployments required to meet timeline commitments. Merging cultures on the program was also challenging. Overall, not an easy implementation by any stretch. Everyone did the best they could.

NetSuite provided me a implementation guide who I did not think was very knowledgeable.

I recommend that you make sure the organization knows how they are going to use the software and come up with an implementation plan before importing all of the data.

Toast overall was a very impressive system. However being new to Canada I was hesitant to sign. Clover worked well with payment processing but was not a great system for sales and service. Square would repeatedly crash and miss payments, their customer service was terrible and took too much effort to have any corrective assistance. We went with TouchBistro because in all the restaurants I have worked in this has been a consistent system and was able to integrate with Moneris payments.

We have been able to scale our business 25X without any major overhaul with Netsuite. Its dashboard setup makes onboarding new employees very easy and allows data to be shared across multiple offices. Its cloud setup does not put any pressure on IT to scale servers or other infrastructure. We have been able to become much more efficient in all aspects of the business.

  • It can be slow during large volume times, especially if a lot of my customers are laying with credit cards or gift cards.
