Kaspersky EDR Optimum is the evolution of Kaspersky Endpoint Bussiness, a more complete product, which runs the same software on Windows 11 and Windows Server. Now, we already use Kaspersky Sandbox on-premises, which has now been unified with KEDR as Cloud Sandbox. These improvements and unifications have made life easier for Security administrators.

Nice traditional AV evolved to EDR
I do not currently use Kaspersky any more (it was a business decision, not a technical one). However, having the knowledge now, I believe it would not be the winner.
However, it will be definetly above Trend Micro (for many reasons). However, it might be a balance between performance and price.

Kaspersky EDR Optimum is an excellent end point protection solution for both local and cloud environments.
After several evaluations we concluded that the kasprsky provider has a solution for each processing environment we have.This impacts an excellent cost-benefit for achieving economies of scale on the company's infrastructure. On the other hand, we verified that during its operation, its level of effectiveness in terms of malware detection is excellent. Finally, it provides a desktop patch management solution that we found efficient and effective. Allowing you to automate the distribution of patches with a minimum staffing of technical personnel.

The other products are great for what they do, but Optimum goes above and beyond these. The ability to identify new threats quickly and constantly adapt to overcome them is not something to be taken lightly.
