Overall Satisfaction with Kaspersky EDR Optimum

We are using Kaspersky EDR Optimum for end point protection on our Corportate Desktops and Notebooks.
  • Easy to remote deploy over corporate networks.
  • Full integration to SandBox Solution on Cloud Providers
  • Incredible performance over Windows 10 and 11.
  • IT has integration with Kaspersky Security Center on Cloud.
  • In some situation doesn't work seambles update. Specially on Windows 7.
  • The management of rules and group's polices is a litle hard.
  • There isn't information about SandBox integration. For example activities detection.
  • Easy to deploy.
  • High level of malware detection.
  • Best price over funtionalities.
  • Our goal of Antimalware process always is reached with this solution on end point protection.
  • Actually EDR has malware detection than other perimeter provide hasn't.
  • Almost of end point protection, we use this solution how assets inventory.
Kaspersky EDR Optimum allows you to collect information on the status of technological controls with threats of malicious code in real time at all times. This is very useful for us in order to detect any error in its operation, both prevention and detection. When it comes to reporting, we have absolute control of what is happening in the solution, to the point that we have our own IOC inclusion procedures.
Kaspersky EDR Optimum has excellent use of resources in terms of processor and main memory consumption. On the other hand, it can be run on various operating systems, in particular I highlight the best performance we obtained on desktops with Windows 10 and 11. The complexity of its operation is basic.
After several evaluations we concluded that the kasprsky provider has a solution for each processing environment we have.This impacts an excellent cost-benefit for achieving economies of scale on the company's infrastructure. On the other hand, we verified that during its operation, its level of effectiveness in terms of malware detection is excellent. Finally, it provides a desktop patch management solution that we found efficient and effective. Allowing you to automate the distribution of patches with a minimum staffing of technical personnel.

Kaspersky EDR Optimum is more appropriate for large computer network, because it has much better securtiy controls than others competitor. For small infraestructure, i choose KSC on cloud, becasuse is really simple its desploy and operation. One important point is use Windows 10 or 11 on the desktops. This scenarios is easier than heterogeneus computer networks.

Evaluating Kaspersky EDR Optimum and Competitors

Yes - We were using Sophos End Point EDR.
We have two vendor of End Point Protection (Sophos and Kasprsky).
Finally we decided to desploy KAspersky solution on our End Point assests.

The most important factor for us was that Kaspersky has one soluction for each ambient or platform and all of them have inetrgation with KSC (Kaspersky Security Center).
Today we have multiples scenary of movil devices. This factor was marginal when we evaluted the change.
KSC Cloud need improve its funcionality as console much as deploy and managment of end point over the Internet.
