SAP S/4HANA at our company
We recently moved to SAP S/4HANA from SAP ECC. The migration is smooth, but there is a speed issue; S/4HANA takes more time to load material than SAP ECC. One thing I like is that multiple user logins are possible from a single SAP ID. This gives the flexibility to work with multiple users at a time with a single SAP ID, which increases the productivity of our staff since we have only 3-4 user IDs per department.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud review
We derive the benefits from SAP S/4HANA Cloud in multiple areas. In HR, we use it for payroll management, time management, personnel management, training and event management, organisation and information managements. In finance, we use it for financial accounting including ifrs17 p&l and balance sheet disclosures using the FPSL. The cloud computing is used for the subledger accounting and data model for planning and forecasting. We also integrate the cloud with Analysis for Microsoft Excel from SAP to take out information easily and dynamically. We also use this for information lifecycle management for timely deletion of sensitive information securely.

Manage Orders in an efficient way
I use it for order management, order tracking, getting sales activity report, order review, invoices, to get our various documents, Checking our material availability in our warehouses. We use it to manage our customers and orders in a better, safe and more effective way. Also, we use it for our internal inventory management and view to process orders fast.

Fantastic Analytical Capabilities for Large Datasets
SAP S/4HANA Cloud is currently the foundation for our finance and quickly becoming the foundation for our manufacturing. In my area we utilize the analytical capabilities of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and Fiori to provide live reporting to our users and stake holders. For us SAP S/4HANA Cloud has resulted in the ability to run more reporting on live data and has resulted in cleaner data overall for reporting.

We went live in August 2023 for one of our service lines and are currently working on moving several additional service lines to S4. We went greenfield, and the goal was to implement as close to standard as possible. We wanted to be on S4 before 2027, not have to compete with other companies for external expertise, and utilize the more modern user interface.

SAP Public Cloud Feedback from a User and Consultant
Scope : Finance Business Processes
I'm a Cloud Finance SME and the main problems we are facing is the tax reporting capabilities within Cloud. We don't have complete LATAM localizations yet and we need to develop this using external partners specialized in Tax reporting. SAP only focuses on Federal Tax Solutions per Country but doesn't focus on Provincial requirements.
Another problem we focused is that we have not been able in the Cloud to have an E2E Refurbishment Process ( when a material has to be repaired from a maintenance process)
Finally we struggled in Fixed assets to enable additional depreciation areas and Asset classes it was not allowed. from a GL perspective we could not adopt the YCOA Chart of Account and we had to invest a lot of time transforming the COA into the desired GL's - this was easier in S4 On Prem where you could create more Chart of Accounts.

- The Integration it has with Concur and Success Factors is easy and straightforward and implementation effort was minimal
- The Analytic KPI's for Finance Overview is a huge improvement.

- Refurbishment E2E process is not supported
- Mining Industry in the Cloud Solutions I'm not aware they exist or integrations with Typical Mining Software related to Production
- You can't create additional Chart of Accounts only YCOA
- When we need a customized solution it's more expensive then before ( we were on Premise )

Warehousing, Procurement and Inventory Management made efficient using S/4 HANA Cloud.
I have used SAP S/4 HANA in my organization for the past two years. It involves implementing SAP into client Business Processes into their Warehousing and Material Management. We have helped clients transition from the Legacy system to the S/4 system and Greenfield and Brownfield implementation. S/4 Hana gives clients leverage to integrate their Warehouse using SAP EWM into various processes, including STO Process, External and Internal refurbishing, stock return, and Return to Vendor, among other processes. It essentially allows the client to integrate their various business processes, including procurement, sales, and stock transfer, to other warehouses, providing them the luxury of tracking and streamlining the business process without any hassle. SAP S/4 Cloud also makes the physical inventory process easy by using ad hoc, cycle counting, or annual physical inventory processes efficiently and comparing it with stock in the warehouse. The scope of my use case involves Implementing SAP S/4 HANA into the clients' new Plant or warehouse through SAP MM, EWM implementation after configuring it into the SAP, doing the Smoke test, SIT, assisting the user during UAT, and finally implementing it for Production use.
- SAP S/4 HANA Cloud users have flexibility, whether migrating Data from a legacy system to S/4 or converting Data.
- Data Security and Cost-effectiveness are other benefits associated with the S/4 HANA cloud, highlighted by clients insisting on implementing it.
- The S/4 cloud can be used in one or more plants for the client site, and there is scope for significant scalability. In my experience, the implementation has been very smooth.
- The level of customization that accommodates specific client businesses could be better. There are times when we get a query about a very unique business process and find it difficult to adapt it to the cloud.

S/4 is our main system of record, it encompasses different lines of businesses, and is responsible for storing, organizing, and managing data for, e.g. HR, transportation, SCM, production planning, material, suppliers, customers, etc

For accounting we use SAP. I use it for withholding tax reports and general ledger line item reports. We have to review and repost the entries, and we ensure that tax compliance is properly done. SAP is a tool that helps to easily extract the Withholding tax reports and to determine TCS liability.

A move to S/4 HANA we have not found any major issue at the time of issue implementation. if we explain the scope what we got the after the Go-Live.
