Overall Satisfaction with Asana
Our marketing agency is using Asana as a Project Management tool across all departments. The first problem that Asana helps to address is keeping track of different campaign projects and making sure that we are on track with all deadlines. It's super helpful to keeping everyone working on each account organized. Asana also allows for full visibility into projects that other departments are working on, and this level of transparency is so important while we continue to work remotely!
- Asana integrates seamlessly with our other project management tools like Slack, Everhour, and G Suite Apps, making it easy to keep track of everything in one place!
- We frequently set up Projects with the 'Kanban Boards' and this layout is perfect for showing us what items within a project have not yet been started, what's currently in progress, what is complete, and what may be held up by outside circumstances.
- The Project Calendars are great visual tools that we frequently share with our clients to give them a visual of their project timeline. They love this view because it's so easy to understand!
- Our biggest pain point is around recurring tasks. Right now, when you set a task to be recurring, only that first instance of the task will display for a user and the remaining tasks will not display until the previous task was completed. It would be nice to see all occurrences of a repeating task so that we can better project workload/ bandwidth of team members.
- Timeline Project Views
- Forms (but we wish you could have multiple forms per Project!)
- Project Templates (this has significantly streamlined our Onboarding process)
- Automation Rules
- Asana has allowed our marketing agency to have a central point of truth to be able to reference for all client projects. We know what tasks were completed, added to the scope, or removed from the campaign. This has ultimately helped to create a better sense of trust between our agency and our clients because they have full transparency into what we are delivering to them.
In comparison to other Project Management software tools that I have used, Asana is the most user friendly platform without compromising any advanced capabilities.
