Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

I use ClickUp within my product management team to manage product management tasks and product marketing tasks. In addition, I use it to manage customer notes and meetings, as well as internal team meetings. Biggest problem that ClickUp helps to solve is that it adds level of transparency to our entire team, even outside of our product team by using some of the sharing features.
  • Being able to create task directly from notes is a huge productivity boost
  • Being able to share outside of my team, let me use this as a central hub for information.
  • One of the biggest things would like to see changed, is the ability to leave closed status columns collapsed.
  • I think the navigation still has room for improvement. The accordion style navigation can sometimes be a little bit annoying to bounce between areas.
  • Hugely positive impact on overall team collaboration
With a fully remote team, it’s really helped our product team to stay on task and understand the status of a task or project any given time. And that means we can do more with fewer meetings.
When information is centralized, I mean people spend less time, trying to find details from previous meetings or notes that were taken.
ClickUp’s task management first approach, gives it a leg up on tools like notion and Coda. Microsoft struggles to offer one centralized tool that can do all of this in one tool.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

I find ClickUp to be a task management first, note taking second type system. So if your primary goal is to first manage projects and tasks, ClickUp as a great tool. If your first goal is to manage documentation and longform notes, it certainly does the job and it can work, but that’s where they compete with other tools that some will find better suited.
