Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Our projects frequently involve a lot of interdepartmental collaboration, but we were using spreadsheets and/or emails to assign work, which resulted in countless issues. We were looking for:
- Interdepartmental accessibility for collaborative efforts
- Customization features adequate for various complex projects (layouts, views, statuses, workflows, templates, privacy, etc.)
- Assignee accountability through activity & change records
- Workload management & resource allocation
- Oversight from dashboards/reporting
- Archive & exportation functionality
- Secure API for ERP & database communication
- Organized structure/hierarchy
- Extensive view options & custom fields
- Feature request forum
- ClickUp University
- Their table view & forumlas need a lot of work
- List upgrades (list linking, high-level reporting, list statuses)
- Microsoft/Outlook two-way integrations
- 50+ solutions for our recurring projects/work
We now have straightforward visibility on progress for our high-collaborative projects through ClickUp, where before, Project Managers would need to be emailed/called/consulted during all phases of projects.
We've been able to consolidate work that was previously being through a variety of places (Teams, network drives, email, checklists, etc.).

ClickUp's hierarchy is a big selling point, but they truly are as close to an all-in-one productivity platform as you can find!
