I manage marketing the 6 locations for our business, with a marketing staff of one- without Hootsuite, there is no way I could post relevant info in a timely manner. The ability to plan a week's worth of social content in a couple of hours is amazing! Hootsuite Academy has been a lifesaver for helping me not only increase engagement of the platforms we currently use, but educates me on the newer avenues we need to explore.

Hootsuite has done a great job in providing training for me in an area I was underprepared for when I started. The interface is easy to navigate, the responses are fast, and the features work well for me in my role as a single marketing department. The online training has helped boost my knowledge of the more advanced applications, using terms that I understand in the training offered. Hootsuite has allowed me to keep learning and utilizing tools offered without overwhelming me with details.
For me and our organization, Hootsuite has helped us stick to a consistent brand image for our 7 different locations. As a solo marketing department, it was a challenge to maintain our branding with numerous other branches trying to help out with social media platforms in their respective markets. With the ability to create content teams during busy times, as well as the scheduling and planning of our content, has really streamlined our effectiveness. Hootsuite literally cleaned up our online reputation.

Hootsuite offers more platforms and also more control over any of the competitors we evaluated. For our current business and customer needs, Hootsuite was and is a much better fit. We use the pro level, and right now, it has enough options and features to ensure proper engagement and real time analytics.

If you need to plan ahead for social content, especially with a limited marketing staff, Hootsuite is a godsend. I have continued the offered training within Hootsuite and it has completely changed the way my workday flows- for once I feel like I'm in control of our social media instead of always playing catch-up. I have actually been able to weed out a couple of social media accounts that were lagging and focus on the better performing channels.

I like the real time reactions to our flash sales and we have seen a 13% increase since last fall with inquiries on last minute sales posted on social media. Having all of our platforms on one dashboard helps me prioritize our individual audiences. I have begun constructing our posts based on the flash drive impressions on each individual channel.
I have not yet used the customer service aspect of the social comments service from Hootsuite. I do, however, closely monitor all of the social mentions of our company across the platforms. There have been times we have been incorrectly mentioned without tagging properly and the massive dashboard helps me catch mentions that I might have missed and helps me push those engagements.
When I took over the role of marketing, I was coming from the talent side of media, not the planning and strategic side of the business. There was not a tool in place to get me up and running in this department, and Hootsuite was invaluable to helping me get organized, consistent, and focused with out the slightest hick up. Customer service for questions was outstanding.
I was drowning in unfinished projects, and new projects coming in, when I started in my marketing role with our company. The linking of social accounts was a challenge, as no one with the company had the log in information on some of the earlier established accounts. Hootsuite helped me clean up old info and link the updated accounts in less than 2 days. I spent so much time wasted trying to make that job harder than it should have been and was thrilled with the implementation.
The initial online training on Hootsuite basic use was easy and fast. But the biggest help for me has been tapping into the resources offered through Hootsuite Academy. Not only does it help me utilize their features I might not be currently using, it also educates me on newer social media platforms. It seems like almost weekly an app or network pops up, so this is extremely useful. The online training is updated frequently, so I never feel like I am in the dark on the newer channels.
I have not had the need to contact support for many issues, mainly just general overall questions. The self service support was enough for me in most cases. Whenever I have had a question I needed help with, the support provided the solution within 10 minutes and the issue was completely resolved.
