We use Hootsuite to help us schedule our social posts across all our platforms. We also utilize the AI text generator to help us get inspiration for posts when the creative well is dry.

The ability to tag people or companies across all the social platforms (instagram and Linkedin)
If you're scheduling a post that is going out across all your social channels it would be good to be able to bulk move them if you have to post them on a new date instead of having to do it manually one by one

Return on Investment

We're a small marketing team in our company so having hootsuite is a life saver, I'm spending less time posting content as I can do my plan in advance and then schedule it out over the month/months so I can get back to helping the team with the other work we deal with.

Hootsuite is easy to use and for the most part it covers what you need to do. The only downside is not being able to tag people or companies on certain social platforms (so we have to do that manually after the post has been posted), there's a spend limit for boosting posts and I have had an issue loading a video to post through Hootsuite, but with all that a side Hootsuite is a life saver for those of us who need a bit of help planning and scheduling their social content.

Social Media Impact

Hootsuite has given has a birds eye view across all our socials, I really love the timeline page where it puts all your social channels side by side so you can see the content you put out and how well it's performing. It's made our lives a lot easier!

Alternatives Considered

Hootsuite is the first CMS tool for social media that the company as used. We've been very happy with it that we haven't felt the need to try anything else.

I really like that I can just go into hootsuite, connect all the our social channels and be able to have a great overview on what our social feeds look like. It's super handy not having to spend time going into each social platform to do the same post, and I can spend one day scheduling out that month's social plan.

I much prefer sorting out boosting post from Hootsuite, the only downside is that they have a limit to what you can boost a month so a lot of the time I have to grin and bear it and use Meta Business Suite instead for boosting posts.
