Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

KnowBe4 cybersecurity training is leveraged in our organization to satisfy our mandatory cybersecurity requirements. We utilize our own LMS but KnowBe4 allows us to download their training in a SCORM file and upload it. We also leverage the phishing simulations to create phishing awareness amongst our employee base. This is done monthly.

Pros

  • Integrates with our Active Directory
  • Has up to date relevant phishing simulations
  • Great training modules to increase security awareness
  • Phish Report button is a great tool to review potential phishing emails

Cons

  • When creating campaigns, it can be somewhat confusing navigating through the console, often times taking numerous steps to set up a phishing simulation.
  • Users are definitely more aware of phishing emails
  • The Phish Alert Button has helped users report suspicious emails directly to our security team for review.
  • The Second Chance feature helps protect our users from accidental clicks.
Code as was strictly a phishing simulator. KnowBe4 goes beyond phishing simulations by providing security training modules, posters, and exciting new features such as QR codes.

We've integrated with Azure AD SSO. Any new employee gets added to the console through the integration.
Our key performance indicators are our susceptibility rate and our reporting rate.
KnowBe4's security awareness is well suited for phishing simulations. Some of the training modules can be a little outdated but are still relevant.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training New Features

Yes, we leverage SCIM provisioning and SSO/SAML. This automates user provisioning so it doesn't have to be done manually.
We haven't done any AI-driven training yet. But it's in our near future.
The usability for the most part is self-explanatory. The only difficult part is building new phishing simulations. Often times it can be difficult to navigate through the steps. Also, you may need some additional skills to create HTML emails. Fortunately, KnowBe4 has a TON of templates to choose from.
We do not leverage KnowBe4's PhishER feature.

We did not purchase premium support. We've been using KnowBe4 for a number of years and don't need support often.
KnowBe4 proactively reaches out to me if they see our organization receive a higher than normal susceptibility rate. They offer to assist us in coaching employees and future phishing scenarios.
The KnowBe4 support team responds quickly and is very knowledgeable. They always have the answer to our questions.
