Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
We rely on Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] extensively for business functions. This includes email, calendar, SharePoint (file sharing and publishing to websites), OneDrive (backing up files), and the other available features. Since everyone is using the software it makes business operations seamless because we can coordinate and sync calendars, use the email features, and access the software from wherever we are in the world (especially helpful during the pandemic when we all started working from home).
- Accessible wherever you are
- Multiple features to address all business needs
- Easy to use and easy to collaborate with colleagues
- One Drive and Share Point can be clunky to use. I still prefer Google Drive in most cases.
- I've struggled to get webinar invites etc. to sync to my Outlook calendar. Instead, they end up on the computer calendar and I miss events unless I manually enter them.
- Task reminders in Outlook end up on my phone task list instead of coming back through a Cortana email and get missed.
- Email
- Calendar
- File sharing
- Efficiencies in file sharing
- Streamlining business applications
- Simplifying email and calendar access
- Basecamp, Trello, Asana, Keap (formerly Infusionsoft), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Salesforce Mobile (formerly Salesforce1 Mobile App), Hootsuite, Falcon.io, Facebook Pages Manager, Google Ad Manager and Whova
Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] is an industry leader and for email, calendars, word processing, and file sharing is primarily out ahead of all the competition. The software is also so ubiquitous that everyone knows how to use it and it's standard with most people that you work or collaborate with. Having the software is essential if you want to work and collaborate with others, and it's a required skill for all employees.
