Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
NinjaOne is a great "Swiss Army Knife" I am able to complete all patching with it. I also deploy new software with it. I am able to have monitoring setup on all machines. This allows me to be proactive instead of just reacting to everything. Some extra things I have been able to gain from NinjaOne is a software inventory list on what is installed on all my machines. This can be super helpful in getting old applications out of our environment. Its a great product and works really well.
Pros
- Backups
- Patching
- Monitoring
Cons
- Reporting, current reports only work if the machine is connected and online. I want to get reports about everything in my company even if the machine is turned off.

- Improve Security Posture
- Proactive resolution
It allows me to manage the entire team weather they are working from home, on the road or in our offices. Its been super helpful
Yes it was the reason I started with NinjaOne and have expanded my services with them
Application installation. I can push a new platform to all computers in a short time weather people are in the office or at home.
Can't compare them as NinjaOne is able to work outside of just the domain networks. Ninja one is much easier to use that Microsoft's System Center

Evaluating NinjaOne and Competitors
- Other
Patching was our first concern with NinjaOne, they were able to patch machines both on and off our corporate network with ease.
I would just go get NinjaOne and not waste my time on others.
NinjaOne Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Yes - Three main phases for us were: Testing group, Office Staff, then production roll outs.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - We used our phases and gates to keep us from moving forward until the Organization was comfortable with the change. Helped with user buy in as well.
- Whitelisting Firewall information
- Defining patching policies

No I just started with the Dojo and worked through any issues that may have arrived.
When getting setup at first. I got on a call with Sales and the engineer. I blasted him with 100 questions, he answered them all and gave me a bunch of best practices that really helped us deploy this successfully the first time.
