Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We use Paycom for our biweekly payroll, monthly retirement contributions, payroll tax filings and annual benefit enrollment. We have roughly 80 FTE.

Pros

  • Stable system
  • Intuitive system/ease of use
  • High level of excellence

Cons

  • Hesitant to provide recommendations for best practices
  • We've experienced a high level of turn over for our direct support rep over the last couple of years
  • Would like to have automatic triggers based on certain variables. For instance, when I apply a housing allowance earning code to an employee - I would like the system to automatically block federal withholding, social security and Medicare taxes.
  • I would like to ability to archive/hide inactive departments
  • The time it saves and the precision of the tax filings is worth my weight in gold
Sorry, don't use many of the automations.
Sorry - iWant is fairly useless. I've tried many different requests and isn't able to give me what I want. I wouldn't say its AI. Its just a more modern database query tool.
Paycom is more modern and other systems don't offer more value than we are currently getting. No reason to change. Don't fix what's not broken.
