Not having to use a multitude of platforms makes it so much easier to manage the needs of staff and organization alike.
Pros

All platforms provide similar services in our world. Some are just a bit better than others and offer different spins on things or nuances that make it just that much better for the end user. Paycor is that added nuance factor.

Evaluating Paycor and Competitors
Yes - We used to use an outside platform for our benefits processes. We switched to Benefits Advisor and it made such a difference for our employees being able to do everything in the platform they were already familiar with - Paycor. Sort of like one-stop shopping. Just recently, I got to see the new version of Benefits Advisor and WOW is all I can say. Fabulous upgrade! Very well done. I was literally shocked at the improvement of what I thought was pretty ok to begin with. It gives the end user so much information on the home screen, you really do not have to travel away from there for much, but can if you need additional details. Wasn't sure how the Paychex takeover would show itself to Paycor users, but so far, so good.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Being able to add Benefits Advisor and E-Onboarding have been the biggest benefit for what I do for the organization. Particularly the E-Onboarding. From going from doing everything on paper or email to e-onboarding has made it so nice and smooth to get my new hires through the processes easily and efficiently. Very happy with e-onboarding!
We get contacted a lot by other vendors to review their products. Never more than when the Paychex merger took place. Some products are pretty good out there, some do not compare at all. There is a comfort in being comfortable with what you know and your teams know how to use. Change can be a good thing, but change can also be a very scary thing for a lot of people. Keeping the status quo during uncertain times keeps calm in the organization and people feel a sense of safety.
Paycor Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Yes - We would use a phase until we were proficient then add another phase after that and so on.
Change management was minimal - No issues
- A lot of testing before implementation
Paycor Support

|---|---|
None | Escalation required Need to explain problems multiple times |
No, cost.
Yes, we were going live with e-onboarding and I was extremely nervous about it. We had tested, tested and retested it. The rep kept telling me that we were ready, I was very nervous! I had a massive onboard of a large group ahead and was dreading it. I did not know how to get a fillable form into the documents library and was really struggling to get things into the right "groupings" and began to panic. My rep stepped in and took my form and made it fillable for me, and loaded it in herself and immediately took the pressure off of me and suddenly made it so much better! I was so grateful to her for doing that for me!
