Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We transitioned to Rippling from APP Workforce in the fall of 2024. We were in need of a workforce platform that provided additional resources, just as scheduling, and a travel expense platform. We now use Rippling for our HR management, Company scheduling, company travel expenses, and we use it for Recruiting/onboarding management.

Pros

  • Workflows- Ability to customize automations to eliminate manual process
  • Reports- live reports that you are able to customize
  • User friendly- Very easy to navigate and has a nice clean appearance.

Cons

  • Spend/Travel Management- Freezes at times when uploading receipts
  • Scheduling Platform- needs to include where you can toggle on meal stipends on shifts
  • Referral program- needs to allow the new hire candidate to include their referral; instead of admin having to go to candidates application and adding for them.
  • The Recruitment platform has allowed us to view and track candidates more efficiently. We are able to view and move 10 candidates from one stage to another, allowing us to save an estimated time of 10 minutes per candidate.
  • Scheduling- Logistics is able to customize each account schedule to fit that account appropriately. They are able to create custom templates with directions for that account that they are able to access over and over again instead of manually typing each time. This saves an estimated time of 5 minutes per scheduling deployment.
  • Onboarding- Allows HR to upload and add presentations, and documents as templates, which saves a crucial amount of time per new hire.
It's an all in one feature with all the platforms (scheduling, HR, onboarding, recruiting, travel expense). This eliminates multiple different platforms and the integration between multiple different platforms. We are able to keep all employee documents, expenses, scheduling/time and attendance to payroll, all in one! It also has eliminated confusion for our employees on which platform to go for what task that we are recommending them to complete.
Rippling would have a 10+ if it weren't for our first implementation manager. We had a poor experience with her. Once we addressed this concern with Rippling, they immediately provided a new implementation manager that has been wonderful for us! She has provided amazing customer service and provided a very detailed implementation process for us.

Rippling has all the workforce platforms inside of the software that our company was in need of. We are able to access one platform to view and complete any tasks for our company. The only item that Rippling needs assistance with, would be there travel/spend management platform, but again, this is a very new addition to the platform. I am confident with time, they will fix all issues to create a smooth process for their customers.
Rippling is very customizable and the endless workflows allow you to automate many tasks, which eliminate human error. They are great about constantly adding new additions/improving their platform as it is a young company.
They need improvement on their travel/spend management. This is a new addition, so its expected to have errors. However, the errors that are taking place have caused many delays on our team members being reimbursed. Maybe a pilot group would have been beneficial for the rollout of this!
