Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We are using Rippling as our HRIS but it was a great fit for us because we have so many time-consuming manual tasks related to onboarding, credentialing, and schedule communication. We have used multiple systems but this is the first that is truly tech-forward and automating processes.

Pros

  • Automated workflows to ramp new hires
  • Rule based documents to minimize human error
  • Easy to navigate help menus with well-designed chat bots
  • good customer service when you do want to speak to a human

Cons

  • The fact that every feature seems to add cost has created a wariness around needing specific solutions
  • More of a customizeable dashboard for ELT with reports displayed as charts or generally a one stop for documentation
  • make PTO calendar sync customizeable to supergroups/teams rather than only managers directs/indirects
  • create a fields section for the business to fill out in offer letters so that we can simplify how many different documents we have
  • make email templates easier to duplicate
  • You can do more without adding headcount
  • You can build processes that are actually scaleable
  • It becomes a first stop for process automation before other tools
Rippling is ahead of the curve on automation for HRIS systems. The others pale in comparison. If you need a system that functions as a multitool, this is doing the work that others cannot
I love the chat bot because it actually provides helpful answers and when it doesn't, it is generally quick to get someone on a call. They often offer to zoom with me when I'm creating complex formulas which saves time and makes the process easy to adopt.

This is my second time working with Rippling so now I feel like a pro but I do think it's a little intimidating when you're first navigating it.
Rippling is the best HRIS I've used in my career in terms of being tech-forward and automating manual tasks. I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it. I don't think I would recommend it to a smaller team because of the cost associated
