The solution designed was powered by SAP Cx suite of applications and
led to a complete front office transformation through
– SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales & Service Cloud and SAP Business by Design
and backed by SAP S4/HANA to implement the desired digital transformation.

The SAP Commerce Cloud helped client to provide its customers with a self-service portal to interact with their dealers
& sales team, access latest company and machinery information, fleet management and hierarchy management as well as to avail service and spare part products. This digital transformation project has helped in improving the way in which the
company engages with its customers and dealers. The first Spartacus implementation
in India and first in construction equipment industry.
Helped in automating the manual processes and reducing the overall turn around time.
Post implementation there has been a significant increase in the number of customer registrations.

In B2B scenarios for the primary orders, commerce cloud fits very well and have background services readily usable.
In Searching it should give some more configuration based cockpit for the advance search configuration and custom attribute searching.
B2B content management and promotions management is very easy from business perspective and helps to reduce the dependency on the development team.

This covers most of the scenarios of e-commerce journeys for almost all the industries.
Integration feature gives a seamless journey for end users as well as the internal employees of the organization to maintain the master data across the systems.
I can evaluate and select the product basis on the scalability and seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
From this point of view as well SAP Commerce Cloud holds good and becomes number 1 for the implementation as it has all the integrations frameworks supported as REST, SOAP, oDATA, etc.

Scalability of the product was good
Seamless integrations were helped in reducing the implementation for the development team to integrate with the SAP ERP
Product framework helped customer to customize and adapt the new features which were developed basis business processes and ease of customer experience.
Deployment and creation of the build becomes very easy with the CCv2 setup.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - There were multiple learnings from the implementation like digitalization of the resources or employees which were earlier working in excel files or on paper.
Then working with them to use their own mobiles for the usage and recording of the data.
Fields service agents to manage their visits, verify everything on the phone and that too with PwA was a major challenge in change management and was handled very well with user guides and timely trainings.
