Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We use Splashtop SOS to remotely support our patient education tablets. Our tablets are used in hospitals and outpatient clinics. Security is a top priority. We had lots of problems finding a vendor with a solution that would work on a majority of Android tablets. Other options we looked at either were not full feature or were cost-prohibitive for a large number of devices. Splashtop SOS solved all of our problems.
- Low cost.
- Secure.
- Easy to use.
- None.
- We reduced our remote support software cost substantially.
- We are able to provide better remote support to our end-users.
We use Splashtop to remotely support Android tablets in a healthcare setting. Having end-to-end encryption is important. Having user-initiated support is important as well.
We were able to get up and running in a few minutes with Splashtop. The process was very simple.
Yes - We tried a few other remote support tools like Teamview. Splashtop worked the best for our team and budget.
- SOTI MobiControl, SOTI Assist and TeamViewer
Simply put, Splashtop SOS works. The remote control feature of SOTI's MobiControl just didn't work for us. We spent countless hours working with SOTI to get additional apps to support remote control for various Lenovo tablets. It was a huge burden and it just didn't work. TeamViewer was cost-prohibitive when compared to Splashtop SOS. Splashtop SOS is much easier to use and roll out.

Evaluating Splashtop Enterprise and Competitors
- Price
- Product Usability
Paying by technician licenses is more important for us than client device licenses. One technician can support hundreds of remote tablets. We are a small company, so we wanted and budget-friendly solution that would not require a lot of time or resources to deploy and manage.
If we were to do this all over again, we would hopefully start with Splashtop. We evaluated a few other options before we found Splashtop.
Splashtop Enterprise Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal - None
- We needed to enable the "screen capture" via the MDM for the Android tablets.
Splashtop Enterprise Training
- no training
Yes, the product is easy to learn without training.

We did not purchase premium support. We have technician licenses. It makes more sense for us to license by technician than by devices.
We worked with Vincent Nguyen and Karishma Singh when we started evaluating Splashtop. They were both very helpful in getting us started and working through a small issue.
