Very happy with TeamViewer use every day
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
I am an everyday user who needs to access any of several dozen machines at different clients for OS or app configuration, end-user support via screensharing, and file transfers. This allows for faster response times to fix problems, install new apps, and provide support. As a software developer, I also use it to access machines for testing software I write that I cannot test on my development machine.
Pros
- File transfer
- Screensharing with an end-user
- Recording mouse and keyboard movements for later use in app troubleshooting
Cons
- Stop nagging me to improve security every time i access a report machine
- Make ALL features available in the "old" interface with equivalent functions in the "new" interface. Examples: full display of machine notes, editability of machine notes
- Offer file compression on recorded sessions
- Less need to travel to clients on-site
- Faster and more efficient turn-around on support
- Ability to administer multiple machines at once
Immediately
- Splashtop, LogMeIn Central by GoTo and AnyDesk
For our purposes, each is roughly equivalent in features and usability. I do actually use all three of them and have used TeamViewer primarily when jointly supporting clients with other contractors.
