Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
UltiPro is used by everyone at VEKA. Our HR department uses UltiPro daily while our employees use it periodically for reviews, open enrollment, to look at pays, etc. UltiPro has so many solutions for our company and has streamlined a number of processes. Having access to so much information and the ability to analyze the data has been wonderful. We haven't even scratched the surface of what this product can do, but continue to dig deeper and roll out more modules periodically.
Pros
- UltiPro is wonderful for open enrollment. Last year we conducted our first on-line open enrollment and it was very successful due to the ease of use. We have a large population of employees who aren't very comfortable with computers, but UltiPro is so user friendly that it put everyone at ease.
- The BI portion of UltiPro has tons of reports already created that anyone can use. It is also fairly easy to create your own custom reports once you understand how the system works.
- Managing employee benefits is very easy with UltiPro and making changes is quick and simple.
Cons
- I understand that UltiPro is an online tool but I would like to be able to talk to someone more easily when I have an issue. I don't like having to go out to the Customer Success portal and typing in my issue. Sometimes it is hard to articulate what is happening.
- I love that there is so much information available for reporting, but sometimes it is hard to locate the field you are trying to input in the report.
- In Recruitment, I still haven't figured out how to print the applicant information is a way that makes it easy for the hiring mangers to use.
We looked at a number of products including ADP Workforce Now and none of the products seemed to even come near to UltiPro's capabilities.

Using UltiPro
575 - All employees use UltiPro periodically but HR uses it daily for most HR functions including recruiting, benefit administration, time management, payroll and more. It has changed how everyone in HR does their job and has provided us with more analytical capabilities than we thought possible.
575 - HR provide support to all employees who use UltiPro.
- Payroll is the number one function for which UltiPro is used.
- Benefit Administration has changed dramatically with the assistance of UltiPro. The most recent added bonus is the capability of assisting with the new government regulations surrounding the Affordable Care Act.
- Employee reviews are all now being done on UltiPro. The review process is much easier to complete and track using the system.
- Being able to post government mandated notices has helped to remain compliant.
- The ability to customize reports has allowed us to easily collect information that would have previously been very time consuming.
- We are just starting to use the Onboarding feature and have a nice vision of how that will streamline our hiring process.
- We plan to integrate a Benefit focus platform into UltiPro in order to roll out a benefit exchange marketplace.

Yes - ADP was replaced because they had an inferior product.

I don't know that we would change our process. The end result was what we had hoped for!
UltiPro Implementation
Yes - We are still implemeting different phases. We have tried to stagger different modules due to our already crazy schedules and this process has worked well so far.
- There was a lot of training required for implementation which was at times difficult to add to our busy schedules. The training was worthwhile but time consuming.

- Once you undestand the system, most functions are easy to use.
- Creating reports can be difficult because there are so many choices and at times it can be hard to know if you are choosing the correct field.
