Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting

Our team has been leveraging usertesting.com for conducting all the unmoderated and moderated research. The tool is pretty intuitive and helps our designer able to conduct the unmoderated tests without any support. The team at usertesting.com has been immensely helpful in working with us in putting together the right set of documentation which standardizes our overall research operations. Their acquisition of UserZoom has also integrated all our userbase into one. I highly recommend usertesting.com to others! We did evaluate other tools but the quality of the product, easy integration w/Figma and their Support system makes this an absolute 10/10!

Pros

  • Intuitive and easy to learn
  • Their certification process giving our users industry wide recognition

Cons

  • Not really with usertesting but there are opportunities with their integrations w/Figma
  • Cost savings of over $100K as we dont involve our research vendors as much as we used to do in the past
  • Better tested experience get out in the market quickly even when we don't have enough time available with our researchers; our designers who are well-trained on usertesting.com can test out quickly
Amazingly fast response time from the support time, also we have a preferred relationship so we always get response in less than 24 hours. In the situations where we need immediate response, we have dedicated support member also available. Our account manager is also extremely responsive and always providing thought leadership and thinking strategically rather than just trying to sell the licenses!
Easy to use, easy to learn, super intuitive! People who dont have lot of experience leveraging research and testing tools can also learn it pretty quickly and test the designs so quickly! The unmoderated tests require such little intervention and can be launched so quickly and can generate pretty powerful results!
I can speak about the digital experiences - the ability to manually update the screeners to target the specific audience helps find the right set of audience and generate authentic results
I would say the merger of UserZoom definitely has helped Usertesting to be then number 1 tool in the market. dscout works great for diary studies but other than that has some limitations and is not as robust as usertesting.com
