Bloomreach vs. Yext

They've just been a great partner to work with. They put forth 100% when bringing platforms to the merchant and were highly prepared and knowledgeable during the sales cycle and implementation, and remained very connected post-implementation to ensure client success with the platform. Their CEO is always eager to sit down, talk shop, and listen to clients' needs, and you can tell from his enthusiasm that he cares about making this company the best in class.

We have multiple branch locations throughout our market area. It's very challenging to manage the web listings for each location, with a large volume of listings across numerous platforms for each of those locations. Yext significantly reduces the workload by allowing me to make a single update and Yext automatically pushes the notifications across the other platforms

• Yext is very, very user-friendly and easy to use.
• Yext provides information within the portal on how you can enhance your listings as well as how you can fix any issues with your listings that may exist.
• Yext's dedicated account managers can help you with any issues that may arise. For example our location pin on Apple Maps was wrong on one of our clinic listings and our Yext account manager reached out directly to Apple support and fixed the issue.

• Improve introduction to Bloomreach-specific terminology such as running aggregates. These are really powerful but can be difficult to understand
• Introduce more options for report exporting - it would be good to be able to schedule reports to send to different email addresses

• Cost. This platform offers a lot of powerful features, but it has an expensive barrier to entry.
• Annual contracts limit flexibility for smaller companies
• The biggest drawback is that you need to keep your subscription active or listings/citation data will revert back to what it was pre-Yext implementation

In my time working with Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud, I always liked to work with it. It is crucial that you get support from experts from the beginning to show you how to work with the vast amount of options and activities to choose from. The learning curve is also well-rounded because of its user-friendly interface and highly skilled customer support.

Yext is pretty easy and straightforward to utilize out of the box. While I work for a digital marketing agency, and this is second nature to me at this point, I do believe the average SMB owner with zero digital marketing experience could be a proficient Yext user within 1 hour or so of usage. The platform is generally reliable - major outages are rare and most day-to-day campaign operations run without interruption. Where it dips: occasional slowdowns in the analytics dashboard during peak loads, and sometimes scenario executions get delayed without clear explanation. The real-time event processing is mostly solids. Overall uptime is strong - it is not something that keeps me up at night, but it is not flawless either.

Performance in Bloomreach Content is quite good but you need to be ready. Your implementation should follow all the good practices (avoid crazy patterns) and the environment setup should be the right one. With all that, Bloomreach's performance is quite solid. Our usage makes use of complex queries and most of them are really quick. Only when you need something really complex and you aggregate queries that should be separated you would get slower results (but then again, that is not a good practice for any platform).

The project team consistently delivers excellent collaboration and is always available whenever assistance is needed. Their responsiveness and commitment make working together smooth and efficient. Bloomreach support, which is included for free in the platform, can also be quite useful, especially for quick clarifications. However, the quality and speed of their responses can sometimes vary, depending on the issue.

Have been very impressed with the support we receive from Yext. I always feel I am listened to and if I have any problems or concerns they are quickly addressed. I have multiple ways to obtain support, either technical or strategic support, and they are responsive. I couldn't ask for more.

Bloomreach is far superior than SFMC as that platform requires too much technical knowledge. Ometria is very good and I would say is quite similar to Bloomreach although I would say Ometria is a smaller company. Dotdigital is also very powerful but not more so than Bloomreach. This being said, Dotdigital and HubSpot does have telephone support which is amazing and something I would like to see from Bloomreach in future or at least shorter wait times for customer support live chat.

We initially chose Yext because it provided the greatest control for our multiple listings. Plus, it had access to the most publishers. However, when evaluating Synup we were very impressed. You would not go wrong to choose either!

there is an option of multiple projects per organisation, customers and assets can be copied across. Multiple sites can be managed in one project, different activities organized under initiatives. Splitting work into sensible units is therefore well possible. The billing is based on number of tracked and number of stored events, no package-based deals. It should therefore be well scalable from a small e-store to a large corporation.

• Emails, banners, and weblayers brought us an increase in conversion and additional profit.
• From a marketers perspective, it allows us to reach far and wide and see how well a campaign is doing in real-time.
• Knowing the customer allows improved communication and personalize our recommendations.
• Bloomreach Engagement has created revenue uplift with acquisition and conversion.
• The most effective tool out there when ROI is in question.

• Consistency in business listing management - without Yext, we would surely have more inconsistencies with our business address across the web. This can lead to poor communication to our customers, and potentially lost business if we lose trust as a reputable business.
• Yext saves me hours of legwork to manage numerous web listing platforms individually.
