Constant Contact is an excellent tool for sending out flyers and newsletters. However, I feel the content's appearance is typically all the same. When I receive an email from Constant Contact, I can immediately identify it - the templates usually all look the same. When sending out communications with images, it is easy to use Constant Contact and link webpages. However, the email layout is always vertical and can get very lengthy. I prefer a more flip-book approach with options to flip the page.

It may be helpful for the Chirotouch team to develop a curriculum of sorts to navigate practices through learning the system in a logical way.
The EHR system is higher in price than other comparable systems, especially with all the add-ons - it would be nice if Chirotouch were a little more transparent about what you get when purchasing the item off the shelf, and, more importantly, what features are not included without a package upgrade.
The graphic layout and color scheme isn't as "pretty" as other EHR systems I've worked with, and actually looks quite outdated. It might be worthwhile for Chirotouch to work with graphic designers to make the interface a little more aesthetically pleasing.
It would be nice if we had more customizable options for emails - like moving around pictures and text boxes, rather than a set spot for everything to go.
I would like it if multiple people could work on a document at one time. So if I'm in charge of graphics, I can get those updated while someone else is entering content, etc.

It's okay, it's easy to use, has good features, and good automation options, but it lacks better delivery support. Many messages end up in spam, even though I have a dedicated IP address that I pay for separately, and I think it needs more design options to make emails stand out, especially in terms of typography. It is fine once it is up and running, but the customization takes a long time, does not have some things setup in advance that seem very straight forward, and for most people the learning curve is very high for learning the system even once it is properly setup and customized. However, it is "fine" not particularly impressive. Additionally, their customer support and training is substandard.
There is always room for improvement. I don't know how they test their systems, but they should invite not-so computer savvy people to test it. If I, as an expert have problems, they need to think like the technophobe. Since I've used Constant Contact in the past as part of my former employment, I have not viewed any of the tutorials and just jumped in to work on my client's newsletter. Everything loads very quickly, it saves as you go along so you're unlikely to loose work if your computer fails. Reports are there immediately too so you're able to act quickly on customer engagement.
Generally we never have problems with speed. If we have, it's been because we needed to perform software updates, and then it went back to working quickly.
The system seemed quite slow sometimes. Specifically, there was sometimes a delay in sends if it was during a high traffic period. There were time-outs when uploading new code for an email, and a lag in reporting analytics which was sometimes as long as 72 hours
These people helped me identify errors when setting up DKIM and were more than helpful in trying to diagnose low open rates with a few campaigns identifying where improvement can be made and how to more effectively manage contact lists. The support is excellent.
I think the overall support for Constant Contact has always been incredible; I have nothing negative to say. Our customer support representative was attentive, easy to understand, and very knowledgeable. I never felt like I wasn't a priority of his and my issues, while very small, were fixed in a very short time frame.
The particular person we were assigned was not very well versed in the software. Several things we asked about we were told we not possible, and then I later figure out how to do them by myself after getting to know the software. I guess that is what comes from trainers who use the system in theory but not in an actual office. They are basically reading off a script that guides you how to set things up, nothing more. If she didn't know the answer, she didn't research it, she just told us it wasn't possible. However, it was a multi-session training spread out over a couple weeks and they did walk you through all the basics. It does take a lot of customization, so this was appreciated. It would have been very intimidating to do without guided support sessions.
Implementation is very easy for someone who wants to send out the “batch and blast” type newsletters. If you want to use their templates with no customizations, the product works fine. However, the more customizations you get into involving link color, etc, that’s where things can get tricky for someone who may not be familiar with coding

With Constant Contact they would phone us and talk us through any issues we were having.
We selected Sendinblue initially because of price.
Also, our average Open rate over the last few months we were with Constant Contact was about 20%. Our Open rate - to exactly the same database, has dropped to under 10% with Sendinblue. We can't understand this. Doesn't make sense.
The Click Rate has stayed about the same - averaging about 2-3% on both platforms.
We had been using medisoft before and it wasn't organized enough or clear enough for insurance billing, coding and doctors notes. Chirotouch solved all of these problems with the additional bonus of being customizable
Constant Contact is much more intuitive for people who are not tech-savvy. Also, while sendgrid offered more options in it's drag and drop interface, it displayed differently across different email clients, which made it very cumbersome to use. It also took much longer to upload contact lists and it was harder to manage existing contacts. Performance in sendgrid was much slower as well, and the Preview feature was quite buggy. Our team initially chose sendgrid because of the integration options that it's API offered, but we ultimately switched to Constant Contact because it was much easier to build campaigns and better suited our requirements.
It's reliable, though occasionally has connectivity issues. Their support says it's our computing issue, not the software, but we don't have similar problems with other software. Definitely needs to be backed up daily. We use ChiroTouch's backup and it works well
