The SAP Customer Data Cloud, based on Gigya (acquired by SAP in 2017) is a product suite that allows users to identify consumers, business customers, or partners across devices and channels to drive registrations and engagement; manage access, permission, and consent; and transform data into unified customer profiles.
It is a very compete and solid solution Once it is in place, and you have configured the different settings and policies it is consistent and works well. It does take some time to work the kinks out. We had a Cisco support provider assist us while we stepped through the process of getting it set up.
Appropriate for large organizations who want customization in their emails. The tool - while intuitive if you have previous background - is hefty and large in scope of capabilities. It's great for organizations who have multiple users and shows the name of person who last made changes. The reporting is really good - but may be a bit overwhelming for organizations who don't need a lot of detailed information

We use Cisco Duo with different type of device and application, but we never face any difficulties to integrate Cisco Duo with any of them.
We integrated Cisco Duo with some of our active directory and some of the OS are quite old but Cisco Duo works totally fine with them.
The end user application is very easy to use. We never had any complain from non tech team members of having trouble of using Cisco Duo.
There are several authentication methods available rather than passcode. I personally like the push notification which is always on time and quite fast.

They do not push Fail-Closed as much as I think they should. Fail-Open is fairly trivial to bypass and it should be made known to the customer during setup how much this will affect overall security.
More vendor integration is something that is always craved by administrators. There are so many third-parties to integrate with.
The tool could be improved to "remember" where you last left off (specific user). Having to constantly retrace steps if you get logged out is annoying.
Hitting the "back" arrow sends you back to a main section, when it should send you back to where you previously were.
It would be nice to see performance reports available within the campaign itself, as well as within the reporting section.
Ability to NOT be able to change anything in a campaign after it has launched. This has happened multiple times. We usually copy a previous campaign to start a new one but often, we end up changing content on the version we are copying from -- this is very annoying and dangerous.
I find the interface a bit complex and challenging to navigate. I remember having difficultly grasping it completely especially when I was new to the system. Simplifying the user experience would make it more accessible for everyone, making tasks quicker and more intuitive.
integrating it seamlessly with other software and platforms could enhance its functionality. I would really really love an integration between BenchMark email marketing tool.
There are a lot of competing solutions on the market; however, Duo "just works", and there is little to no learning curve for the new members to be acclimated to it. As long as that continues I see it as the preferred option moving forward
On the whole I am really impressed with SAP Customer Data Solutions and would highly recommend that other professionals look at this software to enhance their B2C and B2B sales

We mostly work with the API which is of very good quality and is well documented.However, some of our success is also due to having very talented developers on staff, and also understanding advanced gamification design. The tool supports a talented team! It won't actually do everything for you automatically.
In the last 5+ years we've been using Duo, there may have been 1 outage that impacted us. We do receive periodic notifications of issues but, for the most part, they impact carriers or functionality that we either don't use, or do not care about.
Customer Data Solutions availability has been pretty good, anytime there has been any issues like I mentioned before, support staff has been quickly avialable to help trouble shoot things. Customer data solutions has had very few outages during out time using it as well and when they happen it's a quick resolution.
There are some latency issues. The 24 hour caching problem mentioned earlier is a problem. Sometimes the Gigya system makes two calls instead of a single call if we go directly to the social platform. For this reason, it's sometimes more efficient to go direct rather than use Gigya.
I have not needed direct support for Cisco Secure Access by Duo as I have not had a problem with it, but I have full confidence that the support is outstanding. It is now a core component of the corporate technology stack - a problem would mean a serious degradation in the ability of the company to function.
We have had multiple instances of help from Gigya to get our custom implementation working, including detailed technical assistance to a third party. We have found Gigya to be thorough and timely in their responses to all queries, which are consistently excellent.
They trained me in a train the trainer model. I then trained the internal team. Total training was about two hours, with an additional two hours for system setup. Training was maybe a little thin, but the system was fairly easy to learn and this wasn't really a problem.
Implementation was straight forward and you can isolate different scenarios in order to test new application setup or add to an existing setup. Gui interface is pretty easy to understand and follow. I had no experience with Duo and still manage to easily set up new policies and rules.
There was a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, and perhaps we were unclear on some of our requirements. Once they figured out what we wanted though, things went pretty smoothly. Just some minor hiccups in the beginning
I would fully expect a competitor like Okta or any other multifactor mechanic to function pretty similarly, and I hesitate to say duos the best. I think the idea is that it's a simple concept, but it does it well. So I haven't evaluated any myself outside of duo, but I'm also not in the market and I don't feel like we need to go shopping for something else.
While both Epsilon Agility Harmony and Oracle Responsys are great for larger organizations that send a lot of emails, I think Epsilon Agility Harmony is more robust than Responsys and is easier to use. It is significantly more complex than HubSpot and requires previous knowledge of using an email tool that has content blocks and or dynamic content.
There is a dedicated team for SAP setup that helps in providing specialized or customized services to the user. The platform's accessibility lets us obtain reports and information in real time so we reach clients at the proper moment by optimizing delivery time appealed to us the most.
