We use Clari as the primary way to manage our sales business, our opportunities, and our forecasting. Clari provides a very clean, digestible, and easy to manipulate format to view and manage all of the Salesforce information. The fact that Clari is able to provide an easily customizable set of columns and groups, coupled with the ability to write back to Salesforce is fantastic. Anyone in a mature sales organization will find Clari highly effective at helping manage their funnel of opportunities and their business.

Gong is a wonderful tool to be able to make sure that a call is recorded properly with next steps highlighted by an AI once the transcript has been processed. Our organization uses the clip functionality quite often to share a prospect question internally with the appropriate parties, and the sales and CS teams have it synced to SFDC so they can see the opportunity value associated with each call.

Agentforce has a lot of applications. We are using it in consulting to benchmark other clients, what they're doing, where we stand, how can we have better efficiencies coming in, et cetera. Those are the areas where it is doing exceptionally well. The area where we feel it can do much more better is maybe a market benchmark because it's been used across by so many players and it's a connected ecosystem. If Salesforce can have something where it gives me the market view of things, I can then benchmark rather than in my own universe to the broader university Salesforce and I know where I exactly stand and what more can I achieve, what's my final goalpost. So that would be something really great.

  • The history is quite useful in many aspects of my daily work, as I have a complete and detailed view of transcribed calls and email summaries of previously exchanged emails.
  • It's like an assistant; I can receive email reminders about things discussed during a video call, such as the upcoming date of a scheduled meeting or notes on certain key aspects the client needs for their order.
  • I can share calls through Gong with my clients. This gives me an added advantage, allowing the client to have reminders or a record of what was discussed without having to worry about manually taking notes.
  • The interface is complex but easy to learn, has many assistant-like features, and can also be integrated into many calling platforms, such as Zoom.

Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. Clari's UI does not resonate with new users. The backend query updating takes quite long time to update. Lots of fixes are needed without answers or solutions offered by the Clari team. If set up correctly with clear recommendations from the Clari team, all the previous issues may be resolved, however the usability is tied closely to set up.

By default it automatically provides a lot of proactive information. Out of the box you can get a lot of value from what gets recorded with minimal setting adjustment. The effort you put in to enhancing it just makes it all the more powerful but you do not have to have a dedicated admin to get basic usage out of it.

It has a low learning curve for new users on the commom use cases, such as intent classification, routing and knowledge-based answers. Clari is very willing to jump in and build out use cases. They will work to do anything for you. That said, their follow up is not great. We have had to reach out for follow up several times on a project, which is still not complete. I wish they taught us how to complete what we want, rather than doing it in house for us

At the time of selection, Clari was a more mature product than Xactly Forecasting. We did not want to experience growing pains with Xactly. Pipeline Inspection from SFDC was just becoming available. We had already selected Clari before we learned about Pipeline Inspection.

I've used Chorus at a past company. It seems to do the transcriptions similarly accurately to Gong. Good enough call recording. The call feedback can be done too although maybe not as easily. I do not believe Chorus can create call playlists. I do feel there are a lot less analytics pieces to Chorus too. There are many feature addons in Gong to help sales motions.

We did evaluate the EVA bots, which are coming in market for Salesforce effectiveness. Those bots are good, but they're based out of very traditional use cases in the life sciences space. Agentforce is very, very advanced, right? Eva can talk about a typical sales rep coming in, logging in the day, log their entire day, and then probably having a simple text to reporting kind of a view. And that's it. Agentforce gives me a lot of insights, it gives me a lot of actionable insights. It uses its own brain. That's where Salesforce is an AI company. So we trust the Salesforce banner for it to innovate more and more, more and more. And that's where we chose Agentforce over.
