[Dialpad Talk is] appropriate for a small contact center. For us it has worked very well because some of the features we needed have slowly been integrated, which makes me believe they actually listen to the customers. For analytics itself I see it as still being in diapers, at least for us that run an outbound cold sales contact center. But in general, Dialpad [Talk] is a tool which has helped us keep an overall basic control over when, where, and what out agents are doing.

The application is available in a catlike way for any user who requires business and traditional collaboration. It is not necessary to have a paid license in order to enjoy the benefits of the Webex App. Simply register with a personal email to make use of instant messaging, free Webex meetings, [and] share files safely in the Cisco cloud.

  • Notifications- via e-mails, calendar links and otherwise are very helpful when dealing with information that may otherwise get lost or forgotten in conversations
  • Access- Being able to access calls on the go via your own cell phone or using your laptop to help free up your hand and get real time speech intelligibility is much appreciated
  • Variety- Options for quick chats and sending photos, video calls to share screens when necessary, and your most recent calls available on the same screen you are already looking at adds to workplace efficiency

  • It can be used for voice communications (VoIP and PSTN), video calls, video conference, connect to a video endpoint, we can exchange messages in the safe and always on environment and last but not least, we can share content [in] the app [with] a group of people or individually.
  • The app has the same look and feel in all the platforms, Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android which is a great value considering user experience.
  • The robustness and the stability of the app is a key point. You can use it all day long and no glitches, no issues, it just works.

  • I would like to see more company-level management of individual user settings. For example, I prefer all employees to call out using the main company's caller ID. As the account administrator, I cannot control this selection for individual users.
  • I would like the multilevel voice attendant to be more integrated as a single menu. As currently configured, I can enable all the options I want, but only by setting up a forest of "departments" each with their own windows and independent settings.
  • We received reports of callers getting a busy signal, but I have not been able to diagnose why. I would like a better mechanism for viewing call logs as an administrator.
  • Status lights for individual users do not appear to be accurate. Most users appear "available" nearly 24 hours a day.

  • Webex App could use a slight improvement on the search feature. I find that sometimes when searching for specific results that I know exist, I have to manually find them from Spaces that have long since moved on from that topic. After finding the phrase I was searching for, sometimes there is no difference between the needed message and the exact searched phrase.
  • I would like to be able to turn off "Log Missed Calls" from Webex App like you can do with CUCM and Cisco phones. I would rather not know that Webex App specifically, missed a call when I have answered the call on my desk phone.
  • I believe the Whiteboard and shared content could be surfaced better. I use the Webex App daily, so I am quite familiar with the location of those somewhat hidden features, but I believe many others would benefit from a slightly more inclusive UI around that content creation/tracking.

Now, we can't see any other option but Cisco Webex Teams and Cisco's collaboration products to keep our communications up to date and with enough tools and features to confront any posible situation, being a normal work year or a year like this 2020, wich has make us all prove ourselves what we're able to do in manners we haven't even think of before.

The Dialpad app is very user friendly. It took very little time for even our most technically-challenged users to adopt it. Dialpad is also constantly upgrading their software so that functionality is gained. User adoption was really amazing. All it took was just making a few outbound calls and a few short videos to train our people.

The platform is incredible usable for day to day work life, especially during the Covid-19 era when the majority of us are remote. The features like creating a space or leveraging your personal room are similar to jumping in a conference room if we were in person. I have been able to maintain high levels of productivity consistently as I would have in the office over the past 15months. Although only transitioning to Webex in the last couple of months, the features allow for an all in one experience which just makes that collaboration and communication even simpler

I believe as with any cloud based application or solution that your individual connectivity is key to making the product a success. WebEx works will with just about any internet connection from cellular to WiFi

  1. Dialpad Onboarding support was okay. I think this was because we used a 3rd party vendor. We had a lot of issues with provisioning the phones.
  2. The Dialpad sales rep forgot to mention that Dialpad is only compatible with Polycom desk phones so we bad to purchase new phones last minute.
  3. We were supposed to get 3 months free when we signed up with Dialpad as a courtesy but the charged us for the 3rd month. They have resolved this error but I think there was no designated point of contact on Dialpad's end to help things move more smoothly.

We like that the Webex team provides accurate information to assist in the resolution of any conflicts that may arise.

I am very satisfied with my experience with Webex App in online training. The creation of the event is very easy with the possibility of scheduling it in advance. The management of participants, organizers, and animators is complete. The invitations are automated and by simply using emails we can create all the schedules of the training session

Very easy to create. All operations are done without any problems with our business growth. All people like the experience including me as an instructor. The tools that WebEx App offers us are very complete for working in a virtual classroom, whether it is sharing the screen, the different display modes, the whiteboard, or even the scoring tools on the screen, it allows me to do my job as an instructor as if I was face to face with the participants.

We used to use 8x8 Express and while we liked it, we found that Dialpad had more features (like syncing events, emails & shared documents via G-Suite) - especially the awesome Voice Intelligence (call transcription) feature. Dialpad will even transcribe a voicemail while it's happening, so can read the text while you're on another call. 8x8 Express did not provide this and had a similar price point to Dialpad. We also found Dialpad to be more user-friendly than 8x8 Express - especially when using the web version. Both 8x8 Express and Dialpad have web meeting / conferencing built in. I must also say that Dialpad customer service is quite impressive.

Honestly, I think Slack might be better than Webex when it comes to document sharing and the chat feature (DMs and groups). I love the "channel" concept. But Slack does not stand up against Webex when it comes to integrating features such as phone call/device connection. If Webex did not have this feature, I would most likely fight harder to use Slack.

  • Ability to have employees work from home which allows us to keep a smaller office environment.
  • Efficiency increased with integrating calls / meetings in one app.
  • Previously had to restrict employees to primarily work in the office or forward items to their home or mobile phones. This allows them to have the same tools in or out of the office which reduces issues when being contacted by clients.
