Nothing beats the Gmail email service. It is more reliable, has far less down time, and everyone knows how to use it. We had a variety of issues with Microsoft Exchange, and we are extremely happy that we jumped ship years ago. It was worth the effort it took. Thankfully, the …
Chose Google Workspace
When we were planning to migrate off of our old Exchange server, G Suite (Google Apps, at the time) was the only online option that had the features we needed for a reasonable cost. I had used Gmail for years before, and set up a local non-profit club with Google Apps, and …

On the feature-rich front, from among all the remote tools that I've used, whether LogMeIn or VNC, TeamViewer has features as well as a very pleasing interface. Since IT support procedures for file sharing, screen transfer, and controlling remote gadgets are now made so much …
Chose TeamViewer
TeamViewer is more simplified and works great for digital signage and for single use remote tech support for users who are not physically available to bring in their devices. LogMeIn is great for centrally managed network of computers on a more frequent basis. Both have similar …

As an alternate collaboration toot one can use Skype with its screen sharing functionality and it also provides the ability to hand over control to another user although we have not used this functionality. However, it does seem that TeamViewer is more aimed towards a host …
Chose TeamViewer
The all-in-one aspect seemed great at first and looked like it could justify its price tag. The product's easy setup and great performance were definitely there, and our teams got up to speed really quickly. Unfortunately, after a year or so, we migrated to ConnectWise because …
Chose TeamViewer
TeamViewer was the best option for remote control and with the ability for participants to point on the screen during presentations. It was the fastest/smoothest experience for remote control, and allowed logging into the computer before logging in after a reboot. It was also …

Since our company is structured around Google Workspace at the moment, it is well suited for our entire workflow. I do have concerns though, for when it comes time for our company to have our own intranet built and how well the data migration will be from Google Workspace to that intranet that gets built.

TeamViewer
Where "TeamViewer" works well :- We mostly use TeamViewer to help Emplyees quickly access their office computers remotely, specially when they're working from Home or travelling. For Example - If someone forgets an important file or need to run software that's only on their office PC , TeamViewer lets them connect easily and keep working without delay. Its also super helpful for our IT team, - Instead of physically going around fixing issues, they can just connect remotely and fix the problems faster, which saves a lot of time. Where TeamViewer isn't great :- the mobile app can be slow and a bit clunky, making it tough to do anything complicated on the go. Also, for bigger teams, Important features like detailed reports and user management are only in the pricier plan. So, if you need advanced tools, TeamViewer might be a hard choice .

Pros
Google
  • Google's service integration is seamless. Sharing files and documents with team members and clients couldn't be simpler. We can limit file sharing and access as needed.
  • As expected, Google Workspace integrates perfectly with Android phones allowing for a seamless mobile experience. Integration with iOS is also good.
  • Spam protection is second to none. I cannot remember ever finding a spam message in my inbox!
  • Google has a good reputation for email deliverability making it less likely your outbound mail ends up in someone's spam folder.
  • Google Workspace allows you to host multiple domains and alias domains on your account.
  • There is a robust set of tools to allow routing of mail to different mailboxes.
  • Collaboration is so easy with Workplace. Real time editing of documents is flawless. When chatting with collaborators, I can see their changes as they make them with no delay.

  • TeamViewer makes remote access and gives us best remote experience during our scan in their network without any disruptions.
  • TeamViewer makes remote access and control extremely easy and reliable
  • Another strong feature is file transfer, which allows us to securely send patches, documents, or tools during a session

Cons
Google
  • I have several Workspace accounts, and it can be kind of annoying to switch between them. For example, if I click in my work email but my Chrome defaults to my personal Workspace, I have to open the file differently or log in and out of the other account.
  • Meet is my least favorite feature. I find it very subpar to Zoom in both ease and picture resolution. It's harder to tell when you're sharing your screen and you can't see comments if you're presenting.
  • Google My Business can be difficult to navigate. I frequently forget where features are and have to hunt around for them.

TeamViewer
  • It does not allow a free package for commercial purposes which can be substantial cost for some businesses
  • Being a remote access tool and not properly configured, it is very susceptible to security breaches
  • Being a heavy resource consumer makes it slow down order version systems and those that are not properly updated.

There is no better solution for cloud storage and real time collaboration. The amount of features included in G Suite is unmatched and out of other things we’ve tried over the years, nothing comes close to being as great of a tool.

We need this tool in our day to day business. It is what we do all day remoting into clients devices. In this day and age we can access devices all over the world as long as we have secure internet connection. It certainly saves money in gas, and even if you are away you can help.

Usability
Google
On the user end, it's great, probably some of the most user friendly products out there. On the admin side, it can get a little more arcane, but it's still better than a lot of other services. At worst I wrangle some CSVs to perform mass changes, but it's a far cry from the days of Powershell scripts or purely manual entry.

TeamViewer is a reliable and really strong tool for accessing remote IT platforms secure and fast. We don't know any product that provide us such strong functionality to make our life as a internationally recognized MES provider with DIAMES with an international clientele so easy. We look forward for any new TeamViewer functionality that supports us even more.

Support Rating
Google
My experiences of getting support have been positive. Calling in is not overly difficult, but it does require getting a PIN. The knowledge of those responding to the calls has been impressive. I have managed to work with them to fix two Google bugs that I had identified. These bugs required a some technical expertise and the support staff were able to understand the issue and forward the concerns to the appropriate persons. The first bug was fixed with 24 hours. The second bug took a little longer, but it was also more complicated to reproduce.

the few times i have had to contact teamviewer support, they were very responsive and give me quick answers and seemed to understand my problems quickly and easily. I did not have to sit on the phone for hours on hold or get passed around to multiple phone support techs before finding a solution to my issues, so i would rate their support very highly.

As expected without any problem! Alternate in-person training is another efficient way to learn how a product works. There are many third party supporters for TeamViewer courses available that can give additional ideas how to use TeamViewer for specific functions and features as we did require in respect of our usage.

I have never used the online training either. I have watched a few informational videos that were helpful when learning how to do a specific procedure within TeamViewer and get the most out of the software by utilizing one of the many features that are available with the software. Again, 5 if for neutral.

We used TeamViewer within our scope of a unified endpoint management. Access rights are managed by location and user, both in regard to the state legislation and the company’s regulations. Our IT dashboard has now integrated the remote support KPIs which i derived from TeamViewer usage data.

They are different. Over the years, one has had better support than the other. Google support is good, there have been times Microsoft support was awful, and times when it was significantly better. For me, Outlook is just a drain on resources. Word is that my primary word processor anyway, so I don't feel like I'm losing much. SharePoint seems capable of a lot, and exchange certainly is capable of a lot, but it requires so much configuration, even for a small business, that return on investment seems quicker and easier with Google Workspace. For those who absolutely need a completely Microsoft environment, Office 365 has that, Google Workspace does not. Still, I prefer Google Workspace over Office 365.

First of all the overall experience of TeamViewer feels and looks user friendly more than AnyDesk. The secure connection of 256-bit AES encryption and RSA 2048-bit key exchange. With TeamViewer, experienced users have numerous advanced options to help employees effectively, while with AnyDesk, you don't get. The mobile version of TeamViewer has almost the same options as the desktop version.
